We love Lakeview Middle School. The teachers and staff truly care about kids and are doing a great job. My daughter loves her teachers. She is in the Spanish world language magnet program and is learning so much. She’s being challenged in her advanced classes. She is enjoying being involved in sports and dance teams. We have a had an excellent experience at the school.

I came to Lakeview for the language program in French. The school district decided to pull the funding for the french program after one month. :( But the assistant principal and principal were so upset too and they worked with me and put me in Spanish. The Spanish program is amazing as is Ms. Morales. I was scared to go to a big middle school, but the teachers are so kind and always helping us to do and be better. I am in theatre and love it. Our theatre is a Florida landmark. Ms. Smith is so good and caring. Lakeview is the best!

My daughter has attended Lakeview for 3 years. She is in the Magnet language program and has had an amazing experience! She has been in honors core classes and had many opportunities to extent her knowledge. The students are offered several electives from music, dance and agricultural programs. There are plenty of sports and clubs to choose from as well. The admin work very hard to keep kids motivated, safe and learning. LAKEVIEW is a great neighborhood school.

Our child is in her first year of the Lakeview Middle School Spanish Magnet Program and we’ve been super happy with our experience so far. The teachers, coaches and staff have been great! She comes home happy about this school day after day. The principal’s leadership is motivating and he seems to be really focused on student success as well as focused on fostering change, achieving success and a healthy school environment. Like others have said, I’ve seen some negative reviews online, but all we’ve seen in real life are good things and what seems to be a plan to continue to make things better. We’ve also seen efforts made to improve the school in many areas—outdoor landscaping, new roof, morale-building initiatives, educational improvements, etc. Oh and our kiddo loves the extracurricular activities. She has been in two sports so far and LOVES her coach and we love how she’s grown because of these two sports. She actually chose to do a second sport BECAUSE of her fondness for the coach. Seems like this school is definitely improving and it’s inspiring to see such a strong commitment to creating a positive future for our children. Yay Lakeview MS! We hope sharing our family’s experience can help shed light on the great work that is currently happening at Lakeview Middle School.

My daughter is a 6th grader at Lakeview Middle and is in the Spanish magnet program. The experience so far has been very positive. The teachers are all amazing and very passionate about their subjects and the success of their students. The curriculum is challenging enough for my daughter and she's able to take full responsibility of her assignments through the provided computer and programs that the school uses. The principal has been amazing and his vision for the school is completely in line with our values around learning and respect and I believe he's really going to make this school even better in the coming years. Recent improvements to the school have also helped make the learning environment a better place for the students. We have nothing but good things to say about how our daughter is growing and learning at this school and are excited to continue this journey with such a great school and staff.

Our child is a 6th grader in the Spanish magnet program at Lakeview Middle School, and we are incredibly pleased with our experience. From the teachers and administrators to the overall school community, we’ve found Lakeview to be a supportive, enriching, and respectful environment where students can thrive. When choosing a middle school, we thoroughly vetted all our options, and we’re thrilled with our decision. The teachers and administrators are passionate and dedicated, and the principal's leadership is enthusiastic and inspiring. Our daughter is genuinely excited to go to school every day, a dramatic turnaround from her 5th-grade experience.I’ve noticed some disappointing reviews on this site that don’t align with what we’ve seen at all. From my perspective, the current leadership and staff are working tirelessly to make Lakeview a safe, inclusive, and nurturing place for all students. The efforts of both educators and involved parents are visible in every aspect—from school beautification projects to morale-boosting initiatives, educational enhancements, and extracurricular opportunities. This school is clearly on the rise, and it’s heartening to see such a strong commitment to creating a positive future for our children. I hope this review helps counter outdated stigmas and shines a light on the great work happening at Lakeview Middle School.

Awful. At Lakeview middle school kids get into fights everyday and teachers just yell at the kids the new dance is the worst of them all teachers.

Terrible school. Disrespectful and aggressive students. Some of the stuff members are rude and don't care about what's going on in the school

This school isn't bad but there are way to many fights here, and I think is the staff could do a little bit better at bringing the conflict down to a level 1. But other than that this is an amazing school and i recommend it.

Horrible school, after a threat is done to the school they just brush If off like children’s life’s don’t matter.

This school has problems. They cannot seem to control bullying and fights break out often. I don’t have any complaints about my child’s teachers. All of them seem to care about the students and offer extra help when asked. I don’t know to what extent the principal and other senior teachers there can do to control bullying. This is just an FYI to other parents that you might want to check out school choice for better middle schools.

Not good. That's all you gotta know. If you're zoned for this school, do whatever you can to get your child in another school. Lakeview has only gotten worse from the time I've been there. Dress codes get stricter, teachers and administrators continue to lose control of students...Just no.

i hate this school with a burning passion. i feel deeply sorry for any of the good kids that come here, because it’s gone completely downhill.

Someone needs to take control of this school. Current admistration is inept.
