My son came from another country with 0 English language 2 years ago. We were enrolled for K last year, this year he graduates from 1st grade and meets most of the expectations. Now he fixes me when I speak English. They have ESL class for students like him, a lot of activities for kids, and they treat students equally. Music teacher Ms. Rogers is his favorite and after the play we watched recently I can see why. If I need to talk to our teacher, counselor or principal, I know I can do it without an issue. I am so glad we chose this school, highly recommend!

My grandchild teacher called her an awful name. Students even say that she is mean to her.

Prior Administration under Joanell Gatling was amazing. New Administration is far below expectations. Communication is below par from the Administration. Teachers are wonderful, my concern is how long will they stay under the current administration.

My son is in the 5th grade South Fork and he just loves it! All the staff are very friendly and the school has a lot of resources for the parents to stay involved in. They have a lot of activities for the children to be active in as well.

My son started in the remedial preschool program at Southfork Elementary. He had 2 great regular teachers. They were mature, enthusiastic and creative in teaching my son. He thoroughly enjoyed class, and I was greatly encouraged to participate in his growth, which resulted in him being moved to the regular program in about 2 years. He has had great teachers that have continued to promote his growth. The school has a very warm, friendly feeling about. There is so much support from the principal(s) and staff as well. It may not be a fancy school, but that is not what my son and I are after. It is well cared for and has attractive art and paintings for one to enjoy on the walls. Southfork Elementary is a school that will leave a lasting and pleasant memory in our hearts and minds.

This was first school in USA when we moved to this country. My daughter loved this school and her memories are still fresh. I like the way teachers supported students as well as parents to adjust well with new environment. I love this school and staff
