Our family has been a member of the MSW community for 4 years now, we find the teachers and staff to be warm and caring of our child. We love the constant communication, and community involvement the the school has.During COVID our children were safely in school full time, not on zoom, that meant the world to us. We know that it was not easy to coordinate all that needed to be coordinated so that students could be in school. At the same time we felt our child's health and safety was a top priority for the team. We highly recommend MSW to any family moving to the area.

I would not recommend this school at all. The school does absolutely nothing about the sexual harassment taking place, and is aware of it happening due to multiple complaints. It is really disgusting that they are letting children be in such a toxic environment. As you get into the middle school years, they don’t teach you anything. The students go into high school and end up failing from lack of education. The teachers there have no respect for students and even some of those adults make strange, rude, or sexual remarks involving students. I would not recommend this school by any means.

My child had an awful experience, I do not recommend this school by any means. Principal ignores constant bullying, sexual harassment complaints, and complaints about inappropriate teacher conduct. Constant change of hands, staff leaving in masses… a real mess. We tried for 3 years and every year issues got progressively worse. There are no current reviews of this school and that should be a major red flag to any parent. Ask around in the community about MSW.

I moved to Winhall, VT from an inner city in Connecticut. I carefully looks into schools in Vermont before moving. I am so happy with The Mountain school. My kids are incredible happy and enjoy going to school every day. The teachers are amazing caring individuals.

The Mountain School at Winhall has been an amazing experience for my children. My children are independent and confident and I believe this comes from being in a small school that can focus on each childs needs for learning. I moved to Winhall before I even had children because I knew it was the right town and the right school for our family!
