We love sending our two year old here for the half day program. He learns so much, has fun doing it and looks forward to seeing his teachers. He has so many positive learning experiences here: science experiments, music classes, yoga. The school provides a wonderful sense of community as well.

This review is for the educators and I can tell you for sure that there will be one for the management in a few.If you are looking for a place fun and semi Montessori, this is the place for you. if your child is academically behind OR some what on target, they will learn a lot. HOWEVER, if your child is curious, energetic, quick learner and loves being challenged, this is NOT the place for you. Your child will be bored, tired, exhausted and will hate coming here esp. for kindergarten. While afternoon enrichment is fun and well organized, the am kindergarten work is repetition of the first 2 years and children are expected to be independently working on their own repeating the same work; like I said, if your child is not on target, perhaps this might work for you. Maria Montessori would be turning in her grave if she knew the outdated "disciplining" methods these teachers are using; authoritarianism at its finest. while kids need to learn rules and regulations, they donot deserve to be in time out for more than 5 min, yanked by their arms for "misbehaving AGAIN'... or have the teacher in their face... literally. How do I know all of this? Because I picked up my child at unexpected times during her school. So why 3 stars and not 1? Because I come to realize one thing; the teacher's frustration and burnt out like attitudes stem from the lack of support from their director and her assistant; the director is ABSOLUTALEY clueless about what is going in the classroom to the point of giving the wrong schedule and time frames to the parents. There is NO communication between the teachers and the management. You will be given promises, suggestions, power tripping attitude when questioned and confronted. They cross many boundaries and I hate to say it but it seems to be from mild form of racism.Do you see a ton of great reviews and wondering what is that about? I can tell you it is because they begged parents for weeks and even did a raffle. Ok never mind... do take your kiddos elsewhere whether they are on target, behind or ahead.A.

I cannot say enough good things about this school. I would recommend it to any parent who is looking for either infant care (in the Discovery Center), or preschool in the Montessori program. We experimented with Bright Horizons and Educational Playcare. Neither could hold a candle to the education, organization, and attention that this school offers. We found the classroom environment in these other preschools disorganized, often chaotic, and with very little stability due to rapid staff turnover. In contrast, the Montessori classrooms have a calm focus of students. The continuity and quality of the staff at the school provides tremendous stability to the school. Everyone knows everyone. We considered enrolling our children one of the single best decisions we made. In short, if you're looking for quality education and daycare, visit this school and see what you think. You will not be disappointed.

This is the best early childhood education option in the area. Our daughter started at 4. Now as a Kindergartner, she is reading at a mid-1st grade level, doing math and art, learning geography and Spanish, and truly loving school. Our 3 year old is also there now (after a stay on the wait list) and doing excellent in the toddler program, learning along side 4 and 5 year olds every day. We are blessed to have them in this program and wish we started them sooner. The atmosphere and teaching methods are amazing. The children are guided toward their own creativity for learning. Unlike typical daycare centers, Windsor Montessori staff does not turn over. Meet with them during an open house and you will understand how special this school really is. The full size gym, 3 playgrounds, and field trips are great. There is so much to offer our kids. Before ad after care is a plus. We are so glad that we were introduced to Windsor Montessori. It is the best choice we could have made for our children. But, don't take my word for it. Check it out for yourself. Some programs typically have a waiting list, but it is well worth the wait!

My (then 2 year old) daughter started with Montessori Toddler Summer Camp in 2013. We adored her teacher Ms. Susan. She has a wonderful way with the kids and parents. I learned as much as Madeleine did! Due to the wonderful experience in the camp program we enrolled our daughter into the Montessori Toddler Program for the school year. The school year program is more "serious" and gave our daughter opportunities to build her skill set while being in a productive peer social setting. The toddler room is comprised of kids 18 mos to 3 years. One might imagine that the room is chaotic, but during my visits I found just the opposite. The children are guided to do work, in between group time and active play time. August 2014 Madeleine started in the Montessori Primary class. When we were planning our move I searched and visited other preschools. We couldn't find any preschool experience that matched what Windsor Montessori offers. Her teacher, Ms. Jessica finds the right balance with the kids. She's very encouraging and caring, yet she knows how to be an authority figure. You can see her students respect her.

My children have excelled here! It's a warm, loving environment that mimics my own values and home life. I'm truly blessed that my oldest got in when she did (after a year of being wait listed) and my son had only a few months of a wait BC he was just over a year old. Both my kids know all the teachers, administrators and teachers assistants. This level of comfort for them extends to me. I love it here and recommend it ten fold!

If there were 6 starts I would give it to this school. This is absolutely incredible school with caring teacher and administration. What they do with young children is fantastic - just look at 5 year old ENJOYING reading and doing math at a second grade level. The environment is cohesive, nurturing and with AMAZINGLY low staff turnover.

They do a good job like any other school. The following things are most concerning to me. Teacher and admin are rude. 1. Number of students per class is way more than any school. This reduces the individual progress unless parents teach at home. 2. The school fees is more than the profitable private schools - it doesn't relate to what they say as non-profitable school. 3. The school is till 5.30pm and we have to pay $8.50 to keep kids after that. Now unofficially they say they will take care till 5.45pm. You never know. 4. For June, the school is only till 15th but the principal will for sure take the full fees. They get money for rest of the days through summer programs.

I was horrified by the lack of support I received from the teacher and administration. Just no desire to work with a child with a learning delay.
