This is the worst school ever. Ever since I signed up my children for this school they have been depressed and everything inside the school either looks old or dirty making the place look like i. My son was also hit by a teacher which is NOT allowed. A Teacher gave my daughter an F for only missing one assignment. All of this happen in the very same week. My son already has bullies in this school. So if your a parent trying to find a Islamic school for their children don't sign them for this school you'll regret it.

I've been here since Kg, and Omg its always been chaotic ever since. Everyday I would come In with chaotic classmates, and mean teachers. Except for a few, only 2 teachers are savages and cool. This school never changed its walls and everything is exactly the same. There are like 1 more long buildings that can be used for educational atmospheric purposes. It took the school 5 years to get a few lockers that we weren't even allowed to use, (Which sucked). Some teachers yell at us because we did something wrong. They also act really fake about the school when guests and board members visit to check on the school. They yell at us for talking during lunch. They expect us to be quiet when we don't have time to talk. They take away things that people with Adhd need to focus on, my teacher took something from my very adhd friend and she started crying. This school also can't keep the same teacher for like 3 months. Teachers choose favorites. Young girls below 9th gr are forced to wear the hijab, and get dress coded. The internet here is horrible. The teaching here is not that good either way. They teach us unnecessary stuff. Though this school has taught us some things which is good, but this school is very strict. Not just that it costs wayyyy to much for nothing. Like 60000 for 3 kids + extra stuff and bake sale fees and everything. This school is okay from kg - 5th (i think) but from 6-12 its just tooo chaotic.

Madina Academy is a fantastic school that combines regular subjects with Islamic education. The teachers are friendly and dedicated, helping students succeed both academically and spiritually. The school focuses on teaching important Islamic values and creating a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome. It’s a great place for families who want their children to grow in both their academic skills and their faith.

My daughter and niece attend this school. Both experiences are overwhelmingly positive. I will be enrolling my younger daughter when she is old enough (she is only 2). Teachers are more engaged than at other institutions. Academically students are pushed (in a positive way) to excel more than at public schools. There is a sense of community and dedication to raising strong, independent and educated Muslims.

My experience at Madina Academy has been nothing more than emotional stress and self-hatred. I am a middle school student at Madina Academy, and I can give you the full scoop. First of all the Madina Academy Website has an abundance of false advertising. There are only 2-3 clubs in the school, and there are not enough extracurricular activities. They have National History Day, which was an amazing experience for me, and the History teacher was extremely helpful. All of the teachers that are willing to help and mentor you are leaving. Most of the teachers at Madina had no teaching experience and only started working here because their child is at the school. Not to mention the amount of bullying in the school. Nobody gets punished or disciplined. Recently somebody close to me was slammed onto the ground and their muscle was torn. Nobody was punished for it, and the student who attacked my friend continued to make fun of him. The students here have no sense of respect. One kid was called the N-word with hard r and the person who said it didn't get in trouble. Another instance is when a student called another student a word that is extremely offensive to people with disabilities. In all, Madina Academy has a harsh environment where not many people get along, and many students don't really care about their grades. One of the best teachers is leaving next year and if you see this I want to thank you for everything you did for me, and I want to thank you for signing my yearbook and I hope you really meant what you said. I hope this review will stop you from sending your child to this school.-SH (ps I will miss you and good luck at UCONN!)

My kids went to Madina Academy and graduated and moved on to attend the university. Overall I am happy with the experience. No school is perfect. For me having my kids in an Islamic environment was my number one priority. They got that and they got the education. Yes, a few teachers they had were not the best, but most teachers were great and experienced. I would recommend the school!

I sent my child here for one year, after coming from a public school, hoping for my son to be a good Muslim, and learn Islamic manners. Every day when my child would come home from this school, he seemed miserable. I do not recommend coming here if you want an actual education, because the most of the teachers here are not certified or trained. This school hands out much more homework than an average student can handle. Students with mental illnesses are invalidated, as my child was told to "brush it off", as if they meant nothing. And with the covid situations, half of the staff wasn't responsibly taking the precautions, as teachers would take off their masks, in a closed room with 10-20 students. Social distancing was not practiced at this school, which concerns me for my child's safety. Madina Academy does not handle bullying seriously. I appreciate the effort, on showing the student presentations of what a bully does, but when my son was being bullied at this school, he told the teachers, and they did not show an effort to even TRY to help, or come up with a solution. As far as I know, the staff here are really delightful to talk with, but the school's quality was not so great. 3/10 I do not recommend it.

It was bad because as an educator I worked hard with low salary

This school was absolutely horrible. My children's education became worse the year I made the mistake of taking them there. They went down multiple math levels, even though the teachers were very nice and very caring. I think the curricula or something must have been awful.
