Love everything about St. Brunos. Looking into a school that my child would spend the next 8-9 years was super important as well as stressful. The staff is caring and amazing. The teachers have degrees and really care, and I love how they love on the children there. They have a great academic and sports program.

I am a former student. There is a bullying problem and many students misbehave. The kids are disrespectful to other students and to the teachers. The kids that misbehave never get in trouble and the environment is not very positive for kids that are there to learn. .I am happy I am not at Saint Bruno school anymore. My new school is the opposite from Saint Bruno and the students there are kinder and I am learning more.

I LOVE THIS SCHOOL! Both my babies have just started to attend & let me just say what a difference from the other Catholic school they were at. They are so attentive here & the principal is so good at informing the parents on everything. All the staff is very protective over the kids. My kids have never been happier & comfortable. Both my kids teachers have masters degrees & have been teaching for years. They have the knowledge to teach my children everything they need. I will also say that the school is very clean, organized & everything you put your money to comes back to the kids. Super excited to see what this year has in store but so far 10/10.

St Brunos has far exceeded my expectation, and we are excited about the upcoming years. I love how the school and staff keep parents properly informed, sometimes on a daily basis. How invested the teachers and staff are and how much they love their students. My daughter loved that by her 2-3rd day, she had the nurse, staff, and teachers address her by name and every morning when they see her. Shes never been so excited to be at school.

I am ecstatic to see the School in the direction that it’s heading in. With the new principal and a former teacher, we welcome this amazing human being that touches our lives on a daily basis. Phenomenal teachers here at St. Bruno and amazing Catholic education. This community is so invested and the priest Father Dave is just a blessing. Great families and children and wonderful staff.

LOVE IT. All of the negative reviews below are regarding the decision to hire a principal that was at a nearby Catholic School who did not end up coming after all. Cannot say enough of how much I love this school, it's wonderful staff, faculty, and how well they communicate. GO TIGERS!

It is disappointing that a poor leader has been chosen to lead our school who has had tremendous parental support and the parents have been supported as well. This new principal only cares about her status. I am sad that I am now considering a new school for my children.

St. Bruno was one of the options I would consider for my children's education. Not anymore. I would make a recommendation to all the families that recently left St. Mary's to think about coming back.

It is a blessing to have a school that closes its' gates once students are in their classrooms. This helps maintain a healthy environment for the school community. We know that there are those who have suffered in life and may take their anger and frustration on our school. We pray for them and ask God to help them find the healing that they need so that they may learn to love others.

As a parent at St. Mary's for the past 6 years it disappoints me to read the comments on the principle which I am sad to see go. She has always been so supportive of the parish, school, and families. Its appalling that now that she is moving on from her post at St. Mary's from which she has dealt with more than most could, people are already trying to taint her fresh opportunity. The families who chose to leave often times focused on their own agendas rather than their childs academics. St. Bruno's will be gaining a great leader whom genuinely cares about the youth and setting them on the path to a higher education. I've witnessed first hand how parents along with a parish leader caused division amongst families, staff, and even students. Mrs. Ortiz Lopez dealt with issues which were completely outrageous and uncalled for with so much grace. I intend to enroll my child at St. Bruno's following her change. There is no principle I'd feel more confident leaving my child with.

The school's choice on the new principal is great! We know her ability to lead a school and have seen what she has done at our school. This school will be in great hands.

Unfortunately the new principal effective July 1, is MOL from St. Mary's Whitter. Her reputation speaks for herself among the community and local Catholic schools and parents. Unfortunately despite numerous complaints to the Archdiocese, she is well protected and apparently offered even better opportunities while leaving St. Mary's in disarray. Hopefully she will not ruin this school as she did St. Mary's who's currently operating with half of the enrollment with another exodus planned this year. Sadly several parents had planned to enroll at St. Bruno's but with the announcement...... what to do?????

Great school before the decision of new principal. It has me questioning how this decision was made and I think it should be looked into. I doubt any parent input was given as one does not need to look very deep to before warnings ring regarding the new principal. In fact, I have heard that she did not even have the dignity to let her old school know she was leaving until it was announced at St.Bruno’s. Not a very class act by her or our leadership. Disappointed.

Happy until now. We will be leaving knowing who they chose to lead our school next year.

St. Bruno School has a wonderful staff. My son had no pre-school skills before entering as a Kindergartner at St. Bruno. Already he has learned a tremendous amount. Everybody here is very friendly, helpful and patient with my son. It is a safe and peaceful environment for kids to learn and grow.

My first look at St. Bruno's School was how closely the children were being taken care of in a special way. They possess a family theme with the teachers, pupils, and aides too - from TK all the way up to the 8th grade, watching out for each other in the classroom and on the playground. On Mass Day there is a buddy system, with the older children taking the younger ones to church, sitting with them throughout the Mass. I loved that when I first saw that. I am a grandparent.

I attended this school in the 70's and early 80's. My kids attend St. Bruno now. We were there when the change of administration happened. It was a rough time, but the current principal has stuck to her beliefs and love for our children and the school is thriving now. The number one-A goal is to teach the children about God and to live life in a way that will help get them to Heaven. The number one-B goals is the academics. We are the first in the area with 1-1 technology and the kids are doing extremely well. Also the new principal brought an incredible educational psychologist to the school that has helped my son (who has a learning disorder) to have confidence and help him to achieve his academic goals. Children of all academic levels are welcome at this school. The school really has both my kids' best interest at heart and is doing everything they can to help them succeed in school and in life.

Having seen the enthusiasm and effort put into upgrading the school's infrastructure, and having been part of the upgrade to the first fiber-optic Internet connection for a school in this area, I take great pride in knowing that when I go to observe the students, they are doing incredible work that uses the Internet as it should be used. St. Bruno's is teaching these students how to become good digital citizens - something that is sorely needed today in every school and every home. Good work!

When I saw what the school has done with Chromebooks for each child, I was very impressed. I think that St. Bruno's is leading the way not only in teaching students how to love God and each other, but also in helping them to go ahead academically when they are ready and giving them extra support when they struggle. A parent couldn't ask for more.
