We've had 3 kids go through his school and we're currently pulling our third from school and sending him to private school. ALL 3 of our kids have been bullied, all 3 were promised by the school "leaders" that he issues would stop... They did not!! We requested a move over to Conley and were denied! We requested that one of children be held back, even after teachers suggested he repeat and were denied!! Since when is it ok for a school to have more rights over MY child?!.. Their so called school therapist tried diagnosing my then teenage daughter with depression and suggested medication!!! Umm since when is hat normal?? NEVER!!! School also swept that complaint under the rug!! Our son was pushed down the stairs and once again we sat with school officials including the dare officer and superintendent, once again requested he be moved immediately over to he other elementary where we originally resided and LOVED and were denied AGAIN!! There is so much room for improvement here that were considering moving! I'm sure there a few teachers here who do a great job but we havent had the pleasure knowing who hey are!

Lived here 3 months and my child has barely any homework, and hasn't had a test or quiz yet, oh yeah, the food is horrible and they don't believe in spelling tests or vocab nor teach cursive, sorry I forgot......They rarely come home with any corrected work and music classes uses a broken drum and they just march around in a circle.

My daughter can't believe she's in a school with no lockers, no weekly spelling tests, no weekly reading logs, no book reports, no switch of classes. I am extremely upset about switching to this school. With no choice but to move here into a cheap house, I find myself doing lot's of home schooling.

Both of my children attend Duval Elementary. I cannot say enough about the dedication of the teachers and the staff. Parent involvement is also extremely impressive. As a real estate agent, I see many houses in surrounding communities; I wouldn't choose for my children to attend another school or to live anyplace else. The education my two boys receive is top notch. They are well-supported when needed, pushed to achieve, and are - most importantly - happy with the environment in which they learn.

The Duval school is great. We love all of the teachers and staff. They are very informative and quick to get information out to parents. I have two children at Duval and I feel that they are being taught by some great teachers. Our daughter went to a different school before Duval and we can see a huge difference since we changed schools. They take the time to help the kids learn and they focus on a weakness and make it a strength. Again, we are thrilled that our kids are learning at such a great school like Duval Elementary.

From the day my daughter entered Duval as a Kindergartener, she has felt welcome, loved, and accepted! From the administrators, to the teachers, to the support staff, I know they are all there because they want to make a difference in children's lives. My daughter is challenged academically and has thrived socially. A great school!!
