So far so good. Second year here. I love drop off and pick up. Very fast and easy.

My son loves his school, teachers and friends (schoolmates). Organization and communication are the only areas I see and feel could use some improvement throughout the school. I am hoping to help make some improvements myself by volunteering my time as much as I can. It's better to be a part of a solution than sit back an complain about what may lack.

Faculty and staff strive to challenge students in their education at West. Constantly searching for opportunities to create an ever-growing enthusiasm for learning and critical thinking. As a district, our motto is "One Team, One Purpose!" That is our ultimate goal: to prepare students for their next journey in life and encourage them in their endeavors. Every teacher is well aware that we have the opportunity to make a difference in children's lives . Each day, every year! As a third grade teacher, my reward is knowing that I have made a positive difference in a child's growth and development. They depend on us and look to us for guidance. I think,as educators, we should always be trying to improve and search for ways, to increase our effectiveness and teaching style. I consider five stars to be perfect. But if we are always looking for ways to improve, we will never have five stars. For the last 3 years, we have been implementing a guided reading program, including a number of staff training on reading/writing workshop. We are in desperate need of up-to- date reading material for whole class and small group. $5,000 would be a dream come true!

All 3 of my kids have gone here and the teacher are very understand and patient with the kids.
