This school is the reason why I'm depressed. Im transferring to homeschool with the program penn foster. There's so much violence and little to no love for their peers and some of the assistant principals act childish like the students. Please do not go here. Save your mental health.(Im only a freshman and this was the worst year of my life).

I don't know what to think about a School that is cold and not very respectful to our active Military personnel. My daughter was planning on going to surprise her younger brother at lunch since he hadn't seen her in a long time and looks up to her, especially now that she is in the Air Force. When she called to make the plans with the front office, she was talked to in a very discourteous way, she even explained what she was planning on doing (going up there in full military gear BDU's) to surprise her brother, she was told "NO" and when she stated she was active military, she was told "that doesn't matter". Now we are land of the free and home of the brave because of brave people like my daughter and to hear, that's how she was treated, is UNBELIVEABLE! This school has lost ALL respect from my family and I. The people that are supposed to be molding our children to be productive and respectful, members of society, should not conduct themselves in this manner.

Although it is federally mandated, this school district refuse to provide services needed in order for children with special needs to be successful. There gave been several instances where this district has lied about providing these services. They discriminate against students with special needs and/or learning differences and refuse to comply with federal guidelines within these services. They do not let them participate in extracurricular activities because they are only concerned about winning competitions. The staff, from the teachers to the administration are all related to one another so any concerns fall on deaf ears. You're better off hiring an attorney, going to the feds and reporting them to the state. Find another school district for your student if you want them to be prepared for college or trade school.

District keeps you informed. They send emails and phone calls. They have community events every month. Offer wide variety of sports and clubs.

My oldest son is currently in the top 5% of his class and dislikes the school. Our youngest son hates it. Some teachers are notorious for piling on homework for the next day with a few horrible at expressing what they want. Coaches are infamous for favoritism as well; get out of their good graces in any way and kiss making the team goodbye. They do seem to keep good discipline, yet academically they set up students to not excel.

Out of the first four comments I read, three were positive comments from former students that went to Brewer. Each one of those comments had misspellings and grammatical errors. Haha! If you want to make a statement on how gooder you dunn got learned, at least write English words correctly.

This is one the worst high schools in Texas!!!! As a school they went to Six Flags the week before finals instead of studying and if you didnt want to go you got to sit in the Aditorium for the day and do nothing, you cant even study because the few books that are issued now days have already been turned in, even before finals. My daughter has not studied one single time this entire year. Brewer requires ONLY 2 SEMESTERS OF computer classes for years of high school. Way to prepare kids for the real world, like this isnt a computer world out there!!!! Its very embarrassing to even say my daughter goes to Brewer!!!!

This school is great! No problems whatsoever, everyone is friendly, there's cliques here and there but what school doesn't have that? Great athletics, and scholar programs! Makes sure ever student is treated equally, and they all have a chance of success!

Worst school that I have ever had the displeasure of going to for three years. THREE YEARS of constant bullying my other students AND other teachers! Disorganized, uncaring, and just plain terrible atmosphere! If it weren't for switching schools, I would not have been able to graduate.
