My daughter went to this school and I will forever regret her attending her , she was bullied by teachers and students and after I called to report a teacher the same teacher refused for my child to get on the bus and did not call us and let us know where she was so I ran to the school and left work and the office was horrible , she was called out numerous times in front of others by teachers about her disability came home numerous times and everytime i complained or sent a letter they made her day horrible and everytime we asked for a meeting we were denied and when i returned her to her old school they refused and gave complete attitude when asked for records . They keep getting out of bad reports being made due to principals ties with governor; I honestly have no idea why this school is open !

Live Oak is a good school considering the other public elementary schools in the area..my daughter has been attending live oak since Pre-K and she is now moving on to 2nd grade. The teachers are nice and always helpful to guide her in the right direction. For once there is a principal who actually cares about her students and parents. Sometimes it is frustrating dealing with school issues but as a parent you learn to overcome those issues. I believe for the amount of children in the school they need some type of auditorium or bigger cafeteria to hold school functions in but I guess you have to make do with what you have. My daughter loves going to school here (outside of the children that has no discipline and respect for other people....but that issue starts at home)...GREAT SCHOOL...GREAT JOB Ms. Becnel !!!!!

this school is an okay school i went here when i was younger now my nephew does the teachers do not take time out to see how each student is doing on his or her own to set standards to help everyone get on the same path. The principle always talks about how she is doing her best when she really is not. The school can have better teachers that actually take their time out to see what are the kids strong points as well as weak points and the homework that they give are sometimes unnecessary. Having students do multiplication problems 6 times each just because one student does not know them is really not necessary.

My son went here and my daughter does now. The Principal is on top of everything, the staff is great and so is she. Thank you for the leadership.... darensbourg,medina

This is an ok school. The principal is wonderful and truly cares for the children. The teachers try to teach the children, but the children are bad,,,bad,,, no respect and this allow some teachers no to really help the good kids. Basically, the good must always suffer for the bad. There is no soap in the childred's bathroom and this is not good. So, if you send your child here stay on what is going on and what your child is learning.
