Great school! The teachers are very dedicated and the staff are nice to the kids. The school is great to detect learning differences and help the students...which make it awesome because everyone learns different ways and times. The building is beautiful. I had two kids there and one going this year.

My son had an okay 3rd grade year. His teacher was a yeller and didn’t seem to have the patience with my son. I repeatedly explained why he wasn’t engaging since we just moved to a new house and state. It was still a struggle. 4th grade was awesome. His teacher was amazing and he was happy and thrived. 5th grade was absolutely a nightmare. His teacher was mean, spiteful, inconsistent, petty and doled our way too much homework. I tried to speak with her but nothing changed. My son hates school because of this and I am just hoping the middle school will be better.

Poor. This school is a tremendous disappointment from the other two elementary schools we’ve attended. It’s a joyless environment, which terrifies and inhibits one of our children and disengages the other.This school is an example of gross beaurocracy and anxious parents. There is no genuine joy or love for children.

I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!!!! just to let you know that the grades are 3-5. The teachers are phenomenal and this school is blessed to be built in such an academic town so you'll learn so much at this school. You will never meet a mean teacher at this school! Everyone was so nice and there's 100% no bullying at this school, if there was the staff will take care of it in no time! Going to Weston Intermediate School were the best three years of my life and I would change nothing!! I would recommend this school to everyone!!! Go WIS wolves! Go WIS pride!!!

Best experience my child has had, this school built confidence into her. We moved from New Canaan and she disliked the school there very much. At WIS she felt like they paid attention to her needs, math was a large focus unlike previous schools. They don't treat children as if they should all be the same and on the same level. They don't put pressure on students about scores and some how they are always on top. This school seems to focus on what is really important and not what they can get out of your child. My child loves this school, it was a great experience for her.
