Our child has attended PK-2 - is now in her final year at the school. The change in her has been dramatic - she entered with fairly signficant social, vocabulary and motor challenges, and will leave a well adjusted, generally happy kid at or above grade level in basically everything. Sure, we played some part in. The absolutely outstanding, beyond any belief level of support she got in school was a bigger part than we were, even - the level of structure and careful adjustment of the program to adjust to new information helped us help her as well.We moved here for the schools and really haven't been disappointed.

I had three kids in this school and all of them loved the school. The classes are small therefore the teaching is individualized. Teachers are very dedicated and the staff is very nice and responsive

Excellent. My son needed extra help with reading and math and they made sure to not only support him, but support our family by encouraging and teaching ways to assist and having regular meetings. Love Hurlbutt!!

I just love our little school! I have four children, two in Hurlbutt and two starting there soon. The environment is warm and welcoming and every staff member top- notch from the teachers to the security staff to the janitors. Because it is only k - 2, Hurlbutt has a superb focus on early learners. Teachers and administrators know every student. Walking through the school with my second grader feels like being with a celebrity! The overall feel of the school is kindness and inclusiveness. I am so pleased to be part of the Hurlbutt community.

Hurlbutt is a wonderful school! The teachers and staff excel at helping all children develop at their own pace. The principal is wonderful, caring and genuinely interested in every child, as are the teachers. We have been especially pleased with the early learning center (preschool program) which provides multiple services for special needs children. The teachers, aides, and therapists who work in the center are amazing and have created a nurturing, fun, and creative environment for kids to learn and grow.
