My son attends and we love the school, the teachers and the school itself with the grounds are great. All the Schools within the Westfield School District are great. The traffic in the morning isnt great but we drop off early to avoid it. The Hockey program is also very good, just wish we had a year round Township Rink (Not the pop up tent rink we have now) We often have to drive to Union for Hockey. Westfield also eliminated the Rowing Program in 2020, which we didnt know. Rowing was a big part of our decision on picking a school district hope we can bring that back.

My child is currently at the school. While at the school, she has the support of the staff and peers. This is a wonderful environment for kids to be in.

I went to Edison Junior High in 1965! I loved school, as the faculty had us learning through doing and experiencing, rather than sitting still in desks. I learned more in the Westfield Schools(Lincoln, Tamaques, Edison)than I did the whole time I was going to schools in the city to which our father had been tranferred. I loved Latin and Science class, and there wasn't a class that I didn't like and wasn't interested in. The school had a superior faculty, as did the High School, that my sister attended until we had to move. Please appreciate the great schools in Westfield. They were a big part of our parents building a home there. I loved learning in the Westfield Schools and that habit has stayed with me throughout life. When we moved, we went to the best schools in the city where we moved, and I was so bored that I lost all interest in school and it didn't matter anyway, as their curriculum was at least two years behind Westfield's, and so it was beyond easy for me to make good grades there. They placed me in the Gifted and Talented Program as soon as they read my records, and that was just another boring class. Take advantage of the great schools there.

My son is in 6th Grade at Edison, and is having a great experience. His teachers are all enthusiastic, really care about the kids, and challenge them in ways that keep them interested. Public Speaking, Computers, and Eastern Cultures are all part of the standard curriculum. I wish that I'd gone to this school when I was younger. It's nice to see our tax dollars put to such good use. With a great public school like this in town, there's no need to consider paying for a private institution.
