This school told my child that they would call the babysitter (child services) cause there mommy and daddy were not good parents... who tells a 6 year old that??? I work nights and sometimes I don't always make it back to my house to get my daughter to the bus or ever class on time they were never more then ten minutes late but still because I am trying to support my family and work 16 hour shifts I am a bad parent

Very good school. My son is complaining 4th grade this year and has had a wonderful experience. Staff and teachers are very accessible and patient with all kids.

I was very excited for my child to attend this school, as I had heard how amazing it was from several coworkers. Boy, was I disappointed. This school is run like a sorority with the principal as the lead bully. Have an issue with a teacher? Don't even bother talking to the principal, she will defend her staff all day long regardless of your concerns. And once you complain, you are tagged . . your kid is tagged. My kid was bullied, BY TEACHERS, for the years they attended here after I voiced one concern regarding a teacher. My child looks back on her experiences here and talks about how "everyone, including the teachers, hated me." Awesome. I truly regret ever sending my child to this school.

I've had 3 kids at this school and each has had great experiences. The teachers and administration are great.

Oak Trace is a fantastic school that provides an exceptional, positive learning environment. Those critical on this site must have had a bad apple teacher or wanted to be uncooperative with the process because we have had nothing but excellent experiences. Parental involvement is always welcome when appropriate. Communication has been exceptional with a great deal of technical investment made in systems to allow parents to review grades and communicate efficiently through advanced means. Mrs. Lynch remains the consummate professional administrator and maintains her school and staff with enthusiasm, pride, and unparalleled dedication. We have chosen not to move from the Oak Trace borders at least until our youngest finishes there.

Both my kids went to this schools, one for 3&4 gr and the other 1-4 gr. Every teacher my kid's had were amazing. They worked with each individual child's needs and also partnered with us on things we could do at home to improve a specific subject. They offered extra help in the morning with either math or reading, if needed. Mrs Lynch, is by far, one of the most hands on principals I have ever seen. It's very clear she has build a great school with a cohesive teaching and nurturing culture. We are sad to leave Oak Trace next year.

School teaches only to the test and deals far too much with staff needs as opposed to the students.

This is a fabulous school. I have three kids going to Oak Trace. The staff at this school is top notch, They all know my kids names even if they have not had them in their class before. My children enjoy going to school everyday. They are part of a school "family" and I feel that is important to their education. Thanks Mrs Lynch and staff!
