I am delighted to share my experiences at The Greene School, where my children have been receiving their education for the past few years. The school has proven itself as an extraordinary place of learning, dedicated to fostering academic growth and personal development in its students. One of the most impressive aspects of the school is its exceptional teachers. The educators at The Greene School go above and beyond to engage students in meaningful and relevant ways. They employ innovative teaching methods that cater to different learning styles, ensuring that every child can grasp and appreciate the subjects being taught. I have noticed a significant improvement in my children's academic skills and their enthusiasm for learning, which I attribute to the dedication of the teaching staff. The school's commitment to holistic development is evident through its well-rounded curriculum. Beyond traditional subjects, the school places a strong emphasis on extracurricular activities, arts, sports, and character education. This approach nurtures not only academic excellence but also important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and creativity.I am also appreciative of the school's communication. Regular parent-teacher meetings and constant contact keep us well-informed about our children's academic performance and overall development. The willingness of the school staff to listen to concerns and address them promptly is truly commendable.Safety is a top priority at The Greene School. The school has implemented thorough security measures to ensure the well-being of all students. I am reassured knowing that my children are in a secure environment that prioritizes their safety and comfort. The sense of community at The Greene School is wonderful. The school organizes various events throughout the year that bring parents, teachers, and students together. This not only strengthens the bond between families and the school but also creates a supportive network for both children and parents. The Greene School has exceeded my expectations as a nurturing and enriching educational institution. I wholeheartedly recommend The Greene School to any parent seeking a school that prioritizes their child's growth and well-being. I look forward to my children taking their education all the way through High School at The Greene School!

Our two oldest children joined the school this year, in sixth and first grades, respectively. I am absolutely confident they are receiving a first-class education -- no doubt -- but it goes beyond that. It's the incredible opportunities that they're being exposed to every day that truly make this school experience so unique. Our middle school daughter never would have considered playing on a sports team in a "traditional" middle school, nor would she have been likely to find the support to do so if she did, so we were shocked when she asked permission to join first the Volleyball Team, then the Basketball Team this year -- and eagerly agreed. The first time she served a ball over the net, the cheers echoed through the gymnasium; and when she scored the team's first basket -- by pure luck -- during an away game, those girls hugged and celebrated like they were world champions! This winter, she eagerly joined the school's Girls on the Run team, participating in a physical, social and emotional empowerment program for two months, coached by two of the school's superhero teachers. Last week, at the culminating 5k event, the girls not only celebrated their own individual accomplishments, but were also each other's biggest cheerleaders; my ears are still ringing from the squeals at the finish line!Years ago, when our now-first-grade son was a toddler, I tried to sign him up for a class at our daughter's dance school -- I figured if we were there anyways, he might have a little fun too. They wouldn't accept him, insisting that he wouldn't "feel comfortable" in a class full of girls. Last night, during The Greene School's annual Dance Concert, he absolutely lit up on the Kravis Center stage, performing a routine with his entire first grade class; the kid didn't miss a beat! All students at The Greene School participate in Dance, Yoga, Art, Music, PE, Tennis, FabLab (Engineering), and Computer Science from grades Pre-K through 5. This year, our son has also had the opportunity to meet several children's book authors, celebrate the Lunar New Year and Holi, learn to play chess, take Martial Arts, and more!I know just how much time, passion and energy goes into making these opportunities available for students, and we are grateful every day for The Greene School's commitment to providing such a JOYFUL and supportive environment in which our children can safely learn and grow.

I had the privilege of working at The Greene School as a teacher and it was one of the highlights of my career. TGS is full of the most supportive and passionate staff I have ever worked with. The head of school truly, from the bottom of her heart, cares about every single person in the Greene community. As a teacher, I felt supported and understood. I felt like my voice was heard and valued. Working at The Greene School feels like being part of a community rather than a hierarchy. Every member is valued and that really brings out the best in everyone working there. This atmosphere seeps into every aspect of The Greene School and all the students and family feel it as well. The parents are a huge part of the school and lend to the happy, optimistic and joyful environment and the students feel supported and loved by every single teacher and staff in the school. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a really community, “village” feel where they can feel support, valued, and part of a team. As they say at the school, “you’re always welcome at The Green School” and this motto could not be more true.
