Wow, we just played deToledo in an athletic event and was shocked by the poor quality of students. Zero respect. So rude. Bullying our players by making fun of their height. What a poor lot of current students. If their student population is any indication of the quality of person the school supports-I would never send my child there.

I had two children attend De Toledo and both thanked me at graduation for sending them there. We live in an excellent school district, so sending them to our local public school would have been a no-brainer. But the teachers at De Toledo are a breed apart, and for me, that was the deciding factor. I am the parent of the kindest, warmest, most interesting children on the planet, and I have no doubt that De Toledo played a role in that.

New Community Jewish High School is a very special place for kids to learn and grow. The emphasis is on creating "A+ human beings," not merely robots who perform well on the SAT's. The classes are small and I feel like the teachers are amazing, wonderful, brilliant and very caring of my child. This is my second child I am putting through this school, so I speak from experience. It is a big financial commitment, but I know it's an investment in my son's future. My daughter, who graduated a year ago and is now in college, will always have a warm connection to this school, as will I.

This is a small school with high standards. Teaching values are priority in this school. Extra sweet and professional office staff. It is not as diverse as should be.

A wonderful school! I especially appreciate the small classes and the way that students are placed in classes that match their interests and abilities. There are plenty of clubs and activities and most of the teachers are excellent.

I am a NCJHS graduate and now that I am in college I realize how underprepared I was, especially in science and math. This school stresses morals and values, but most of my classmates had emotional issues. There are a lot of kids with special ed needs too. I begged my parents to send me to public school and now they are sorry that they did not because they feel we wasted my time and their money. Although the school pretends to care and to stress community, that basically works only for big donors or board members. The staff has no idea how to deal with kids and the administration is blind to all of the behavior and issues of the students. Go anywhere else.
