    My school is a place where kids are valued. Teachers work to ensure all kids learn on their own level. Kids are safe, well-fed, and engaged in their own education.

    I am a parent of a Kindergartener in this School. The Staff are excellent with the students. The students enjoy learning at this school, and are equally rewarded and supported for their good work. I have watched this school grow and change over the last sixteen years that I have lived in this area. I watched my nieces, nephews, neighbors kids all go through this school, each year they provided new learning experiences for the students.

    the principal needs more education on how to deal with difficult dituations and to talk to the parents better. As for some of the teachers thye sont seem to want to take the time with parents to help out thier child.

    West Hamlin Elementary has come a long way. The new principal has turned it around, he is so courteous to the parents and my kids just love him. He takes the time to talk to parents and the students and that is what makes it successful.
