A lot of people at the school get bullied. The teachers barely ever pay attention to what people are doing, they just talk about it like it's no big deal. Some students smoke and take drugs and the teachers or principal either don't do anything about it or are too "busy" to care. Most of the stuff we learn at this school is easy. Most of the teachers are rude to the students. Almost all of the teachers are really strict about phones, they can't just take your phone away and keep it for the rest of the quarter, they didn't buy it and it's not their business. The teachers are either nice or rude, they yell at the students and that's not always a good way to cope with the situation depending on what it is. Some teachers can be disrespectful and talk back rudely to the student. A few teachers don't always let students go to the bathroom even when they really need to go. A lot of fights could happen and it usually goes around the school, sometimes the teachers don't care, sometimes they will just talk about it to the students, or they'll say something about it. Usually, when the principal finds out, he may do something. Most of the teachers care about what the students are thinking or saying and they make a lot of the students cry because they are so mean.

My experience at WMS: My experience at WMS was dangerous, violent, and just complete uncontrolled chaos. The staff member’s just let everything unfold. The students bullied me, harassed me, embarrassed me, mad inappropriate rumors about me, and just tried to make a fool out of me witch they accomplished but resulted in dangerous acts (done by me) and plenty of hospitalizations, treatments, and therapy treatment. I was at wauconda middle school for 6th grade, and was able to make it through 3 Semesters of 7th grade until one of my local friends told my school resource officer what i put on my social media page (dangerous act i could have done). It resulted in my parents having to pull me out of the school asap, and find a new school going into the 3 semester. Luckily i am doing better in my new school and making new friends. Principal and assistant principal: the Principal and assistant principal at WMS are kinda just… well they don’t do anything. Teachers: the teachers at WMS are just your average teacher. Most of the teachers are very strict with the phone policies (more about phones bellow). Most of the teachers are demanding unfair to certain students and then are more. Friendly and respectful to other students. Phone policies: at WMS you are allowed to have your phone in your pocket during the day and you are allowed to use it during your lunch period (just don’t let any teachers catch you on it in the bathroom). But fortunately i am doing better and much healthy and i can actually be the real person i am.

My two children loved Wauconda Middle School. The staff was professional and responded to all of their problems. They didn't have any problems with bullying. The homework was not too overwhelming. Oh, and the music program was excellent.

The staff is very unprofessional. If you have an issue and email anyone, the principal or the teachers never respond to you. No phone call or email back. What's the point with email if you aren't going to reply and communicate with the parents. They do nothing about bullying and racism. They communicate with the parents by having the kids be the middle man. I can't wait to until my kids are done with this school. If you are thinking about moving to this district, don't do it.The staff has the worst communication skills. It makes me wonder how on earth they can teach students if they don't even have the professionalism to communicate with the parents.

I love how the teachers take the time to understand their students and push them to excel. In order for any school to succeed you need dedicated parents, dedicated teachers and engaged students.

I went here and I liked it and hated it. The curriculum was too easy for me, the social atmosphere was bad I didnt like that drugs were common talk around the school. The school was clean and all nice school just not that hard mentally, easy to get good grades. I liked it but Catholic School is incredibly better.

I have 2 children at WMS and am very happy with the school. Great teachers, challenging curriculum, numerous activities for all types of kids and professional administration.

Ok let's see the bullying in this school is a disaster and the principal does not have enough bullying knowledge.
