Amazing school!Fremont has very kind and easy going teachers and offers great education for their students. My daughter goes to this school and says that she loves it there, we moved recently. She always tells us how nice her teachers are and how well behaved her classmates are. 100/10

My daughter loves it here and she has excelled in her classes. The teachers and administration are very responsive and communicative. Some of the teachers are absolute rock stars. Students are treated as individuals with customized learning plan and appropriate placement. The main area of improvement, in my opinion, is the overwhelming amount of apps used for homework and communication. I wish there was just one centralized repository/system.

Students with special needs are discriminated against in this district. There is not enough special education staff in any of the buildings and classrooms are overcrowded. The teachers seem overwhelmed and underpaid for the amount of students they have.

I have loved this school for over 5 years, and have proudly watched my children grow by leaps and bounds. Wonderful teachers and staff. However, I have a huge concern with the amount of children who have been integrated this year, who clearly should not be in regular classes. Overly disruptive, angry, aggressive, children who scare the other children with their outbursts. Physical and audible attacks to students and teachers. I feel that Fremont has traded our students' safety for more state funding.

This is an AMAZING school. Academically this school is stellar but the staff also works to develop children socially and emotionally as well. There is an emphasis on community and character development and the atmosphere in the school is warm and supportive of all the students. All support services are in place for students who need intervention as well as a REAL gifted program that provides differentiation for advanced learners daily, not just for a couple of hours a week. Students have easy access to new technology and incorporate it into the classroom by doing things like podcasts and multimedia projects along with more traditional projects. There are weekly classes in art, music, technology and library as well as DAILY physical education. As a newer school, the facilities are great including a science lab. Students also have access to an outdoor learning environment - acres of land to explore as part of the academic curriculum, but also for active pursuits like cross-country skiing in the winter and biking during summer school. Band, choir, sports, clubs - Fremont has it all with amazing staff and administration. You can't find a better school in Lake County!

My two sons have been in this school since 3rd grade. One of them needs 504 plan because of his medical situation. The school staff (from the principle, nurse to my sons' teachers) are very helpful for special clean-up arrangement. They even installed hand free hand sanitizers in the classrooms where he'd go! The level of care from each of the staff is beyond our expectation and we have been so thankful to them and feel so lucky to be in this district. I have to mention the wonderful teacher Mrs. Bratta who were with our boys for two years straight. Because our son had many medical absences during the first year with her, she suggested to use Skype to make him connected with his classmates. The previous principle (Mrs. Dahn) and the computer staff Adam were very supportive and made this happen really quickly! Our current principle and teachers continue to make great effort taking care of my son. The school nurse Sharon is RN and has a big heart:) Our another son has been luckily in the enrichment class since the very beginning. We are so glad to see his great improvement academically. For our family, Fremont Intermediate School is the best school we have ever been with.
