My son has been at Atrium since the fall of 2020 when he started 1st grade. He is now entering the 5th grade. Each year has been an amazing experience; the teachers truly know him and take the time to understand his learning style. They encourage him to embrace his identity, and he feels happy and comfortable in his skin. Atrium teachers are culturally responsive and deeply committed to social justice. I'm always amazed when my son asks thoughtful questions about life and current events, showing that he is thinking critically about his role in the world and how he wants to contribute to it. I love Atrium. I genuinely feel like I have found my community.The head of school is very open to communication and constructive criticism. I believe that the administration genuinely wants to improve the school, build a strong community, and nurture the whole child.

The Atrium school is one of a kind. I am well-versed in the gamut of independent schools in the Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Newton, and surrounding metro areas. Atrium stands out from the rest. We deeply appreciate that the school's funding goes toward personnel, curriculum development, and community building rather than a flashy gym or meticulously landscaped gardens. Atrium is a school that works on a daily level to fulfill the school's mission of "Excellence with joy." High-level test prep approaches are easy to find in many schools, educational companies, and books. It is far harder to find faculty deeply committed to every student's education and a curriculum that teaches them to solve problems that they haven't seen before. These are two of the school's many unique features. The small size of the school necessitates children to learn real social skills - how to interact one-on-one to handle, resolve, and embrace differences. Even in brief interactions and conversations - most importantly, particularly in the unscripted and spontaneous ones! - I can seen how the leadership, faculty, and staff teach by example.

I cannot express the depth of my gratitude for Atrium's unique position in the progressive school universe. A robust, energetic school, Atrium draws from its profound commitment to fostering curious, empathetic, and excited learners who simultaneously strive for excellence and forge their own pathways to it. Due in part to its size and ability to pivot, Atrium maintains the bandwidth to accommodate and celebrate the individual, while fostering the alchemy of the group. My child has become more comfortable in the classroom, as a learner, and in his own skin by virtue of his time at Atrium.

As an educator, I am looking for particular qualities in a school, and Atrium has it all: extremely thoughtful curriculum that builds enthusiasm for problem solving, modern skills sets, independent learning and a warm and value-driven environment. Lots of schools say they do this, but Atrium actually does it. Couldn't be more pleased.

Atrium has been a fantastic school, and community, for my 2 boys and for our family. Teachers are superb, and truly know the children. My boys feel so comfortable at school--which they are thrilled to get to each day--and are able to take risks, academically and socially, because of this sense of comfort and safety. A fantastic school!

I have been teaching for 25 years. I have worked at many schools. Once I found Atrium, I knew I found my home. There is no place I would rather be. Atrium is a creative place, a dynamic learning environment and a loving place where every child matters, is seen as "smart" and supported to be the best that he or she can be. We love our children here.

It a joy to see my son and other kids running up to the school's doors every morning. This is not only a school, it is a wonderful community. We are thrilled to be a part of it.

We have two children at Atrium and cannot be happier with the quality of the education, the community, and its pursuit to educate our children into inquisitive, creative and curious learners. Atrium, through its amazing teachers and leadership, has mastered the ability to thoughtfully teach and engage each individual child, through a variety of creative and collaborative approaches. Both of our children love going to school, rave about the teachers and enjoy learning. We are very excited the school is expanding to include a full middle school!

We are thrilled to have our two children at Atrium. We were looking for a small, independent, progressive school that nurtures and respects children, and we found it at this amazing place. Our children are thriving academically, socially, and emotionally. The understanding that the teachers have of each child is nothing short of amazing.

The Atrium has been a wonderful experience for all of us. They offer a warm, nurturing environment and many wonderful programs. The class sizes are small and the teachers really care about each and every student. I couldn't be mroe pleased.
