    Our family has attended many schools and we have found Shepaug to be the best fit for our older children. The teachers have been strong educators, and in the very few instances when we have needed support, the academic counselors have been able to help. This small school understands the need for high achieving students to have access to Honors and AP classes. They also take advantage of their small size by ensuring that teachers and counselors are available for support on a regular basis. Utilizing this support does not feel forced, so it does help to be independently motivated to seek help.
