Bower is one of the most accommodating schools I've ever experienced. As a parent of two children, I couldn't imagine a better place for them to attend.

My daughter is going on her 2nd year at Bower as a permissive transfer student. Prior to her attendance at Bower she attended a private school in Naperville. Her prior schooling was exceptional and i was very hesitant to make the transition back into public schooling. However, after two years of having the privilege to interact with the staff and faculty at the school I knew we had made the right decision. I can't say enough good things about this school; The sense of community, the quality of the academics, and like our prior Montessori style schooling the teachers and staff genuinely care about their students. The Principal also cares deeply about the entire student body and i think this projects very well onto the quality of schooling and the atmosphere that the students receive at Bower. Keep up the great work!

Black students and some Hispanic students are treated very unfairly at the school. Lots of racial bullying among both staff and students occur here and these problems are most of the time never addressed. As a former student of this school, I can say some of the teachers and staff are prejudice and do not give fair treatment to all students.

My daughter just finished up her kindergarten year at Bower. I could not be more pleased with her teachers and the staff at this school. The teachers truly enjoy there jobs and the PTA did a great job getting the parents involved at the school. I look forward to more great years at Bower!
