Excellent school, if looking for a school for your children I would recommend! Staff and faculty is exceptional, and managed well.

This is such a bad school for tpur child to be in it. Christine Oneil would definitely need to be moved so then this school can show progress in their teaching classes. She is rude and as a parent of a very bright child, I can only tell you stay away from this school. They don't teach students absolutely anything!

Would not recommend this building as a place of employment. Administration is condescending, manipulative and mean. Teachers work in fear and are afraid to speak up. The principal does not have an open door policy and you often need to schedule an appointment to talk to her, which pretty much sets the tone for the overall environment. She has building coaches who she has “keep an eye” on everyone and report back to her. Unfortunately, definitely not a building based on trust. High turnover rate.

It’s a very toxic environment in terms of staff relationships. Christine O’Neil does not value relationships with teachers, manipulating relationships and creating an environment based on fear. Be aware of significant behavioral issues with some extreme students. Trust when you hear there are no consequences for negative student behavior. Would avoid this school as long as the current principal is in charge.

Just moved to the area and love Beebe. My daughter is learning so much and loves her first grade class. Everyone we encounter from the school is very professional and you can tell how much they care for their students!

I loved the teachers and how much they are involved with the students. My sons scores soared at this school and set a great foundation for his middle school academics.

Beebe is an excellent school, filled with caring, thoughtful educators and competent staff. The Dual Language program is phenomenal (in my opinion, the DL teachers are the cream of the crop). There are many programs for both gifted students and those who need a little extra help, and several innovative, fun activities for students to be involved with either before or after school hours. The diversity of the student body is amazing and something that is valued by administration and staff. Parents have the opportunity to be as involved as they'd like through not only Home & School, but also classroom specific volunteering (or school wide for males with the Watch D.O.G.S program). Really great school with an EXCELLENT Dual Language program!

Wonderful, diverse and caring school! First dual language program in district 203 which has been great for English and Spanish speaking parents/students. Great teachers, staff and fabulous home and school association! Each student has every opportunity to have a brilliant education if they take advantage of all Beebe has to offer!

Beebe is a great school with a diverse population. The teachers, administration and staff are dedicated to providing the best learning environment possible. I take exception to a previous reviewer who states only the children of those who participate in Home and School are treated fairly. First, Home and School is comprised of dedicated volunteers who work mainly behind the scenes to run programs for children and raise funds for the school. I daresay many teachers could not tell you who was part of H&S. Second, the teachers at Beebe treat all students equally regardless of the amount their parents volunteer. Great school, great kids, great teachers.

Had a hard experience with my daughter's third grade. The teacher did not provide proper instruction so my husband and me had to teach math every night. The classroom environment was poor leading to several incidents in the classroom, playground and on the way to the bus. I almost went to the board! The principal was never available or visible during school events. Thank God for Mrs. O'Neil who tried her best to help! Many parents have complained that if f you are not part of the "Beebe Home and School" clique, your child will not be treated fairly.

What a disappointing experience I had to endure watching my children attend this awful school. Attending first through fifth grade, they had not one good teacher. My kids "graduated" from this school not knowing their multiplication tables, not having any kind of grammatical foundation, not having any sense of how to write a sentance. The school proudly admits they don't teach the students cursive with the explanation that it's no longer necessary - yet District 204 teaches it. When my daughter was in fifth grade her teacher had the temerity to tell me that I should teach her how to do fractions and to continue teaching her the math topics for that year. Isn't that what the teacher is paid to do? Her fourth grade teacher admitted she doesn't know Geometry and that's why the whole class did poorly on the state assessments. The reality is all of District 203 is resting on laurels that are 20 years out of date. All of 203 and Beebe, in particular, is a place to avoid if you can educate your children elsewhere.

Beebe is an excellent school! Superior teachers and administration, involved parent community, many enrichment programs, wide diversity of students. Class size is large, yet this hasn't prevented either of my kids from getting a superior elementary education! A big plus is the Dual Language program - very similar to a language immersion program (students who participate are chosen by a lottery).

Beebe is a wonderful school. The teachers are dedicated and caring individuals. My third child just started at Beebe this year and loves it! My kids always have great things to say when they get home. I am confident my children are getting a solid education at Beebe. Go bobcats!
