The principal and one of the tenured kindergarten teachers need professional development in their communication and problem solving skills. It’s hard to find resolution and advocate for my child when pride seems to take precedence over listening.

The principal needs work. The parking is horrible.

Please somebody for the love of god get this school under control! The principal does not know what she's doing and is so inconsistent. Doesn't stand up to parents with troubled children or stand up to students for that matter. my daughter is going to a new school next year no questions asked. She has been assaulted and bullied numerous times and NOTHING is ever done. If you don't want your child to be a punching bag send them to a different school. This school needs to be shut down or the administration needs to step in and get it under control starting with a new principal.

This is my son's first year (kindergarten) and it has only been 4 months since school has began. I have not found anything I liked other then his teacher. The principal and her ways are a joke. I am trying to hold off pulling him out, so he doesn't lose his friends, and his sense of comfort with his teacher and class. Other then that this school needs a lot of help. I pray this gets better!

My kids have been in this school for over 3 years now. It gets worse every year. The staff all have attitudes with you and are very impatient. They send my son home from school on a weekly basis instead of dealing with his medical condition. Special resource room is not enough. It lacks on educational progress! Bullying has been an ongoing issue that they do nothing about! Overall, this school is Terrible! My kids are going to new schools and a new district next year! End of story!!!!

My son has been in this school for less than a year now and we have had nothing but problems. The principal and teachers have done nothing to address our concerns and my son is treated unfairly. There is absolutely bullying present (even in kindergarten). We have had several major incidents happen this year and are very dissapointed with his academic progress so far. We will moving our son out of this school and out of this district for the follwing year.

Briarwood is an excellent school. Every teacher we've had has been wonderful. They listen to our concerns and treat us and our children with respect. The office staff is great too - they know how to handle problems and are very personable. While the principal is new, our kids love her. For the little bit of contact we've had with her, she seems fair and likeable. We're very happy with the education our children have received from Briarwood.

The teachers are AWESOME for the most part. They are very patient, and if your child does not understand something, they will sit with your child until they do understand. The special resource room teachers (for learning disability children) are absolutely Phenomenal !!!! My sons have 2 different teachers, and they both LOVE their teachers very much. The only thing i don't like about this school, is they DO NOT offer special education classes. I really think if they offered it, my older son would be better off because he only gets to work with his special resource room teacher an hour to 2 hours tops per day. And he struggles VERY BADDDDDDD!!!!!! And my son is always being bullied, and the school does NOTHING about it! Overall, its a descent school ;)
