We have been a part of this school since 2018 and are very happy with our children’s progress. My daughter “graduated” from here and has moved on to middle school and still talks about her time at Fishkill Plains. My son is currently there and is very happy. Principal Fazio is lovely and knows every child by name! The school is small in comparison to other local elementary schools and I love that about Fishkill Plains. Highly recommend!

This school is unfair and annoying they call parents for the smallest things that take place and they act like all kids are super innocent i tried leaving a google review but they deleted it so now im here

No complaints with this school. Wonderful teachers, admin, and support staff. Very glad that we ended up here after the redistricting!

I am taking the time to report how concerned I am about the 4th grade class because my grandchild's success is important to our family. The report card is an unhelpful instrument in relaying information or clarify the issue the teacher is trying to convey, Our family wants very much to partner with the school and the teacher in helping our child to be successful however to date there has been no guidance in how to achieve the goal of collaboration. We feel strongly that the issues born in elementary school, if left unaddressed, become the problems and concerns of high school. These formative years are pivotal to the good outcomes and successes of our child and our district schools.

I am so disappointed with the path this school has been moving on since the new principal last year. I have had children in this school for the last 6 years and this new principal has been implementing policies and procedures that create an atmosphere of animosity. The family friendly feeling and involvement is no longer appreciated or wanted by Administration. The common core curriculum is definitely much more difficult than 2 years ago and I find that I need to spend an enormous amount of time teaching the work to my child. I am unsure if the teachers are even teaching the work they send home for homework or for test taking. The concepts taught is not age appropriate for the immature mind to understand at the lower grades. I am considering quitting my job and home schooling or paying for private school. In the past, I enjoyed having my children attend this school and it is very sad it has turned out this way...
