Having toured every Catholic school in the area --and possessing insider knowledge of many-- I can state with confidence that St. Mary's is easily the best Catholic School in the Hudson Valley. Our family can only recommend the school most highly, as it is Catholic Classical education at its finest. The administration is masterful and kind and the teachers are equally masterful, full of experience, and teach the *whole child* as an individual. In terms of early elementary instruction, the instruction is interdisciplinary and creative in the most beautiful way. Social studies lessons on folk tales offer tie-ins to mathematics, religion, and English, as well as problem solving, and science is very much taught in a "hands on" experiment-based manner. We love everything about this school and certainly the wholesome, value- and faith based education our children are receiving!

This is our first year at St. Mary's. I have one in pre-k and one in kindergarten. I will be sending my children to this school until they go to high school. The teachers and staff members are amazing. They are patient and kind and my boys can be handle fulls. They are learning so much. The academics can't be beat and it's a very family oriented place. The principal is very involved and very kind as well. It's definitly worth the costs. My children love going to school and I love not having issues in the morning with what to wear.

My son will be graduating from St. Mary's School in 2015, and we're going to be very sad to leave. Having sent my older children to public school, we decided to give St. Mary's a try, and I have to say that it's been nothing short of amazing! I expected Catholic schools to be inflexible and tough, but we've found St. Mary's to be very accommodating and extremely caring. Uniforms mean no clothing arguments in the morning, and the before and after school program couldn't be more flexible and convenient. Once you register for the program, you'll always know your child will be in good hands if something comes up and you need before or after care... you don't have to be a "regular." The academics are stellar, the staff is kind, the teachers are wonderful, and the kids are quite simply awesome! They are mature, compassionate, and understand how to put their faith in action. We couldn't be more pleased, or more proud of the young man we have been able to raise with our St. Mary's family.

St. Mary's Wappinger Falls is the best elementary school in the valley!! The class sizes are perfect, and the atmosphere is really focused on helping each child to excel. All of the teachers are engaged with the students and it is such a community. Everyone gets to know each other and the students really grow up together. The atmosphere lets kids be kids and they are not distracted by the many influences that you see and hear about in the public schools. The before and after care program is awesome, it's so nice to know that my son does not have to be sent somewhere after school for day care until we get home from work, and as an added bonus he spends time with the aids and does all his homework before we pick him up, which makes our time at home in the evening more of a quality family time. I would and have recommended this school to anyone with a child in K-8th grade!!

This school is the best Catholic school in the Hudson Valley by far! Unlike some of the others in the community, the school is not run by a self-selected few or a group of high & mighty moms. Everyone has a chance to be involved. The principal is outstanding. She is totally approachable and eager to improve the school in any way she can. Class sizes are perfect and every child get the attention and encouragement you're paying for. I struggle with keeping this gem a secret for my own children to enjoy verses letting the word out and it getting too big. The before/after school program allows working parents to pay for school & childcare for the same $ childcare alone costs. Best kept secret in the HV! My kids love it...and I love it.
