I have 3 children at Tice (2 in middle school and 1 in elementary). It is an amazing school with incredible teachers and families. My children have thrived here. The middle school is really special given its small size. Academics in the middle school are strong, and the kids are highly motivated and want to learn. It is also a very inclusive and supportive environment. I love having all 3 of my kids in one school through 8th grade (one drop off and one pick up).

Fantastic. Not a single complaint. We left a very good private school sand the transition has been seamless.

Great overall experience. There were a few kinks in the first year of operation which is totally expected and now just in their 2nd year, it's a well oiled machine and just keeps getting better and better! The fact that it goes all the way through 8th grade is a huge perk but the real differentiation from other schools is the Project Based Learning approach. It's so much more practical and applicable to the real world than your typical rote memorization.

I have two kids at TC, we joined this school at inception. A culture of compassion and integrity, and the faculty knows how to execute a quality PBL program. Very happy to have my kids at this school.

The staff is amazing and enthusiastic and make learning fun and relevant. The school has a small, family-like community and I love that my kids will get to bypass the tumultuous middle school experience. We love it here!!

Tice Creek is a new K-8 magnet school in Walnut Creek that opened in 2015. The focus of the school is project-based, inquiry-based learning. My son is a first grader this year. So far we absolutely LOVE this school. The school offers an innovative, 21st century approach to education. I feel incredibly fortunate to have this option in a public school. The school is focused on teaching kids to be lifelong learners with a focus on creativity, curiousity, collaboration and solving real world problems. With only 300 students, this school has a wonderful sense of community, dedicated parents and great kids. I can't wait until my younger two kids are old enough to attend this school as well. The staff is amazingly talented and dedicated too.
