I have had four children attend Foothill Middle School and they all really liked it. We love several of the teachers there, feel like there is adequate information, and my kids really liked the extra curricular and rotation classes offered. For four kids to all really like middle school is quite a testament to the staff and teachers at this friendly school.

No good communication provided for parents. No good education provided for students.

I am glad I pulled my daughter out of Foothill. Worst school ever.

Foothill is a great school with strong academic performance. Kids are very well prepared for academic life beyond middle school after attending.

My kids recently started attending Foothill Middle School and I have to say, I am sorely disappointed in our experience so far. I don't normally write online reviews but I felt I needed to share my negative experience as a parent at what is supposed to be a highly-rated school.1. I tried to contact one of my son's teachers via email with a simple academic related question. After 4 days with no response, I forward my inquiry to another teacher and again, no response after several days. I then went into the office to make sure I had the right email addresses. I did. I was told to email the principal, the grade VP and the PFA president. After several days still no response from anyone. Communication it seems is very one-sided.2. Right from the get go, you are confronted with multiple not-so-subtle requests for donation (while registering, via email, via flyers, via booklets sent through the kids ... it is non-stop).3. In one on my kid's class, the first 'lesson' was to watch a movie and the next 'lesson' was a classroom breakfast. 4. You are required to buy PE uniforms and, since PE occurs most days of the week, you need to buy multiple. We bought a home in this neighborhood specifically so that the kids could go to Foothill Middle. Now I am concerned about the quality of education they are receiving and am considering moving the kids to a private school.

Not to much experience going because I am not allowed to go , and since I don't drive that is another excuse. I call a few times but never get things clear of the situation or my daughters grades or challenges. They just ignore you if you don't go around.

Me being a student I was harassed by all 3 principles and all way got in trouble for thing that was sent my fault. The education is poor and the physical education was poor. Most P.E teacher lacked the skill to be a teacher. The student there were obviously privileged to much lacking the social skill they need in life.

The school is okay, but the vice principal is not very logical, and they have very inconsistent spending. Why waste money on thirty-something low-end gaming PCs when you can use it on something logical, like a Student wi-fi network? Not everyone has a 3G/4G/LTE connection, you guys.

Foothill has a few bad teachers but the majority of teachers are great my daughter got advanced on all her big tests and has advanced greatly in math while my son has strait As now and pays far more attention in class and on homework. The majority of the teachers are kind hearted and pay great attention to the students in their class and if we get a teacher that does not teach well or help the students we simply switch to another teacher by turning in a form for switching classes. The very rare fights that happen in this school are fixed and the students in the fight are punished. In an all together summary i would say foothill is a wonderful school.

Footthill students are very innaproriate, they are bullies and get away with it. If a student choses not to go along with it , they are theatened and eventually beat up. The principal can care less as long as she gets paid. The staff in the office are very rude.

Teachers aren't very great. Students are extremely innapropiate and act very innappropiately in front of teachers, who do nothing to stop them. Bell Schedule is also very annoying.

Schools in this area are ok if you have average students. Academic standards are low relative to the expense of living in this area. The schools offer very little in the way of advanced academics, sports, after school activiites, or help for struggling students. Quality of teachers is inconsistent.

We do not run 5 miles every Wednesday, only one. If you fail than you should go to learning center even though it is very hard to fail. I am a student

My grandson goes to this school and his comment was "it is very stressful". They had an assembly on bullying today, a lot of good it did. As my daughter was waiting to pick up her son, a fight broke out when one boy jumped another. Parents and students just stood around. My daughter ran over and broke it up. The PE teacher came out and instead of hauling them to the office, he told the boy who started it to go home! No consequences is why this bullying continues to grow worse. What is wrong with your staff?

i am a former Foothill student. I attended for 8th grade. That one year was the absolute worst of my life. The teachers was discouraging, the students were very innappropiate. i had a terrible time here.
