Negative!!! Very unorganized... No preparation for exams, etc

The teachers and the administration in the Walker schools really care and have a passion for teaching each and every student important life skills. The block schedule helps make the most out of every school day, and it gives the students more time to focus on the courses that they are taking. Another benefit of the block system is that you can fit in an extra course. So rather than having 7 courses all year (like most schools), at WHS you can have 8 courses (4 one semester and 4 the next 90min each).

Walker HIgh School is a great school. The teachers really care about the education of each student. The school is able to provide students with a variety of studies, which in turns helps prepare the students for making decisions on what carrer they would like to pursue. thi is made possible becuase the school has adopted a time schudal similar to college/university. students take four classes a semester allowing them to take 8 different classes a year. this allows the students to pursue classes beyond what is required of them to take and to pursue thier interests.

I attended this school from 1987-1991 and I recieved a great education and since I graduated this school has grown and became better. I recommend Walker High School to any parent.
