    This school has been a horrible experience - especially the bullying. Bullying has been particularly bad on the busses. Poorly behaved children are bribed with "rewards" to get them to behave a bit less poorly, while their better behaved peers - and high achieving peers - are largely ignored. No enrichment/GATE education for exceptional children. Large class sizes, despite a reorganization designed to minimize that. Bad experience for my family.

    Very unhappy with school. Teachers pay little attention to students and provide no direction or supervision.

    The staff at all the Vernon Schools are very caring and treat your child like their very own.Great School System

    My daughter went to this school for second and third grade. Great office staff as well as the teachers. Wish she could continue in the school but moving. Just hope that her new school is as wonderful as this school is.

    They used to have a great special ed program but since they have hired a lawyer for the head of the department it has gone down hill. she has cut programs and had faculty moved around. she hasn't replaced one program and treats parents as if they are a waste of her time. If you have an special ed child do not waste your time in Vernon NJ.
