This school has a lot of opportunities in the learning department. Not enough challenges in the classroom and not enough homework. The principal puts a great difference between different races in the school

This school has changed a lot over the years. The principal and teachers all work hard and all families feel welcome. Students here are learning to give back to their community and care about others.

IT is a good school. I would like to suggest 2 things: a) I think education should be laic and I have noticed constant influencial relationship with the church "on the way" . Make think church is using this school as a way to influence students believing system and for families that have a different religion it could cause some differences. I would appreciate if relationship between school and church could stop (Christmas, Halloween, etc) b) The parking situation when pick up kids. Is caotic and dangerous for the rest of drivers when parents double or triple park without consideration for the neighbors, front and back. Please Mr Principal, do something about it. a) Education independent from any church. 2) Some organized pick up system that would be considerate of neighborhood and the rest of the community. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

My daughter Daisy Valdez has been attending hazeltine elementary and I can not tell you how much this school really means to us . The administration office staff is great and professional , the teachers at Hazeltine elementary are awesome my daughter picked up so much learning from. Mrs Telemontes Mrs Ortiz Mr Avery who Is the principal who cares about there children like if it was there's. I am so proud and happy to know that my daughter who is turning 4 in August will be back at HAZELTINE BECAUSE LIKE THE STAFF AND SCHOOL SAYS COLLEGE BEGINS AT HAZELTINE ELEMENTARY SO HAPPY AND I AM A PROUD PARENT AT HAZELTINE

The teachers and the principal are doing a great job and they are helpful to the parents. My son is happy and learning so much on this school. But some of the office staff and their office supervisor are mean and rude.

I am a grandmama. You can almost refer to me as a parent. I have heard great recommendations of Hazeltine Elementary School Teacher's. What has happened to the office staff? Are they articulate? Do they care for the students or more so for their paycheck? I did graduate from Hazeltine Elem. Sch. in the 60's. The office and nursing staff and may I include the cafateria staff seemed to be like your other parents while under their care.... Sincerely, Grandmama

This is and excellent school but some of the office staff are pretty rude (the one with the glasses and dark hair) she does not smile or care to answer your questions. The teachers are wonderful my kids just changed schools and I feel they r learning more here than the other school.

Principal doesn't seem to want to respond to parent's concerns. Faculty slow to respond to requests, and concerns. When I asked for the number to the District Supervisor - staff was evasive and reluctant to respond.

Excellent teachers and principal, always supporting the parent to help the kids in their success, because we are a family all together!!
