My grandson attended this school for 3 years. We we're so happy to find a school that claimed all his emotional educational needs would be met. If you want to pay for your child to go horseriding , to the park, and yoga. My grandson has been emotionally scared he still talks about the abusive teacher who was a high school teacher they pulled to take over his class as his other teacher left suddenly through the semester, due to the fact she was not heard when asked for support and help with the students.Things have surfaced, and several other parents also took there students out of this school. The school is not transparent, they do not listen to the parents. And if you're child has learning difficulties forget it. These teachers are not doing there job. My grandson was there and learnt nothing. I mean nothing. Could not read.Upon pulling him from this school I'm pleased to say within a few short weeks he is reading well. And playing catch up for the lack of actual Education this school did not provide. They are not accredidted so fall under the radar. There are plenty of other incidents not addressed but were alarming. And the teacher that verbally abuses the children and mimicks autistic non verbal children is still teaching at this school. Its shameful and disgusting, to think your child is in a safe place and we are entrusting our students to this sham of a special needs school.

Our son attends Clearwater Academy and it is the first time in his academic career that he looks forward to going to school each day. His classes are meaningful and engaging and the teachers and staff are genuinely interested in helping our son reach his full potential.

Fantastic school. We are very happy. I don’t know any parents here that aren’t super happy. Our son’s education and development is astounding here.

This is an ideal environment for a child with learning differences. It's a gem right outside Peachtree City and has helped my child make important strides both academically and socially. There is help available for tuition assistance and remember with God, all things are possible. My child LOVES this school and her happiness and joy have made her feel secure enough to even enjoy learning. There really is no other school like this on the south side of Atlanta and it's totally worth looking into if you have a child with learning differences or unique concerns.

CWA has been more than we ever hoped it could be. From the director to the individual staff, I know that when my child goes in the doors, she is being cheered for, rooted for, loved.

When this school opened, I saw great potential. In 2010, they released a very loved director with no warning to parents or students; in addition to an unhealthy change, they made many more changes without previous knowledge. Again, in 2012 they released 3 more teachers and one therapist, all of them well loved and agreeable. And again, not one single parent or student was aware. I went in as a potential parent with three children and asked how people can afford the tuition, only to have the new director tell me that if I loved my children I would pony up! This school is designed for children, not greedy administrators. Now that we have signed the contract for the year, we cannot leave the school without paying for education we aren't going to get anyway. Highly upsetting for special needs families and way too expensive. No accomodations made for the things they claim. What a rip off.
