Tyler Legacy has a beautiful campus and an even better academic and learning environment. It offers so many robust programs and opportunities for students that there is something for everyone! My child has enjoyed her Pre-AP, Honors, and AP classes. They also offer dual credit. The teachers are warm and welcoming, and the administration is incredible, too. They truly care about each student and want the best for them. Couldn't be more happy with this school.

All three of my kids have attended here, and the two that have graduated were well prepared for college. My current student is challenged and loves it. There is strong communication between parents and staff, teachers, and administration. The leadership is excellent here.

I would highly recommend Tyler Legacy. The Principal is great and engages with the students and is well respected by the staff. We were lucky enough that my children had him as their Principal in middle school and now they get to have him for high school. My children are offered a wide variety of classes and I feel they are well on their way to being able to attend a great college.

I had a child graduate from here in 2021, a current junior and a current freshman. We have been very impressed with the number of academic and extracurricular opportunities at Tyler Legacy. Our oldest went to college with over 30 hours of college credit and continues to perform very well as a Biology major. We credit the curriculum and teachers at Tyler Legacy for preparing her very well for college. Our other two are having the same experience. One of our children isn’t on the “all AP/Dual credit” track, but the counselor has worked with us to pick a schedule that has a good balance of challenging coursework that fits her unique strengths and needs. There’s truly a path for all students here, but as with everything, you get what you put in to it. As far as facilities, the school was rebuilt and opened a couple of years ago. It is a state of the art school with all the modern safety and classroom experiences. It is beautiful. Lastly, the new Principal, Mr. Sherman, cares about creating a positive school culture. He stands outside to greet students every single morning so that everyone starts the day with a positive experience. He also walks around the lunchroom to chat with all of the students daily. He genuinely cares about the students and staff. We are so pleased with this school. It just keeps getting better and better!

I was told i had to be Autistic to have a IEP or 504, once i got a diagnosis for PTSD and ADHD they still didnt add it onto my record and only gave me the accomodation of sitting where i want which i dont even get to use in most of my classes. Before they got my diagnosis, they would write me referrals for going to the restroom when i got anxiety, and would get sent to ISS. My grandparents came up to the school last year and the principal stood up for the mistreatment i was getting. He has since been fired but i havent seen much of a difference exept stricter rules on the students and i have panic attacks in school now because i dont know if im gonna be bullied by a teacher. I had also had a teacher who would target me in his class and everyone else had noticed, on the last day of school he had me in ISS for having my phone on my desk, while people were boxing in the classroom. This school does not have their priorities straight and i honestly feel like this has been a waste of my high school experience going here.

This school is in desperate need of a remodel or an update. All of our stuff is outdated and old. It looks like it is about to just fall.
