I was a student at that school who was severely bullied and cornered into a bathroom by 4 girls and got a big threat after that me and my mom went to the principal it was found that all my claims were true and ONLY ONE GIRL the one who was speaking to me about fighting me was gave Iss for ONE DAY with no further punishment and was able to join school teams along with the other girls. All the girls played a big role but the school did not care.

too much racism and bullying going on. I’ve been bullied almost all year and reported it multiple times and still no luck. One of the teachers said that one of the kids were bullying me because they like me. That does not make it okay. The school doesn’t care about the students and are just worried about their reputation and property. One of the teachers recently called a student annoying and mocked her after she said she wanted to text her mom after the teacher didn’t let her go to the restroom. There’s been multiple students she has not let into the bathroom for no absolute reason. It’s not just that, but the same teacher didn’t let a student use the bathroom until she peed herself. This school is not a school you would want your child to go to if you want them to have a good education experience.

This school is a great place to make new friends. The teachers are nice and are good at their jobs. The coaches want you to be there and want to be there and try to make progress of your team and self ability. The teachers and students here made me feel welcome. They also made me want to learn more. They make me feel included.

Absolutely terrible. Moved to Fort Zumwalt district because of constant bullying and a lack of administration taking care of the problem, even after contacting the superintendent Mark Penny on numerous occasions. They also gave me a police escort around the school to collect my sons things, I’ve caused no previous problems I may add. Because of small town politics this is not a good district to be a part of.

Overall troy middle school is just a bad school, the teachers and staff don't concern themselves with the students at all and they wonder why half the students don't get as good of grades as they should. We act up because we think you don't care, we know you don't care, all the staff cares about is getting us out of there as fast as they can. I mean I kinda don't blame you, who would want to deal with 1,500 pre-pubescent kids, but you can at least act like you care. Students don't learn anything because if you don't care why should they? Troy middle school needs so many improvements, its like living hell, they don't trust you to make the slightest decision, you guys are supposed to help up learn not be the strictest parents ever.

Hello, I'm a former student of Troy Middle School and I believe that a only a student can truly say how the school is because they were the ones in it and in the mix. The teaching staff are mostly energetic and always looking for ways to help students and to make the class more interesting, and yes, their are some rude and strict teachers that your kids may not like. The students are for the majority kind and kept under control because the staff is very watchful, I personally would be classified as a "nerd" or "geek" and I only had about two incidents where I was bullied. Troy Middle School also has a small variety classes but they are usually around 30 kids which means that the teachers can't focus on each student as much as they want or could. They offer artistic and musical classes and hands on classes like shop and drama and others like agriculture science. Another note, the 6th graders are in a separate building than the 7th and 8th graders and that does help limit bullying of the smaller kids in Troy Middle. Overall, I like this school as it's a great school minus it being bloody massive with kids but it has a great teaching staff and I quite liked my time there.
