My children have gone to this school since kindergarten, they are currently at the end of 1st and 2nd grade. To see the ratings so low is absolutely shocking! I feel like they are receiving an above average education. For example: 1.) My son was having issues pronouncing a letter at the beginning of 1st and his teacher immediately recognized that. She reached out and he was able to correct his pronunciation with the help of the speech teacher by the mid/end of the year. 2.) Any time I feel like I am having an issue I can always reach out to their teachers, assistant principal or principal and receive an answer or resolution that day. 3.) The staff goes way above to accommodate to the kids at the school. They greet children by names every day morning! 4.) The homework assigned is age appropriate. There isn't overload, but enough to engage their minds. 5.) Every month they receive a new character quality and learn all about it. They discuss these things at home. Overall I am extremely happy that my children attend Main Street Elementary. If you ask them they are too! They always talk about how much they love the school and the staff. Trust me, this rating at Great Schools is off!Main Street Elementary is a 10/10 school.

Just an all around horrible school for latin children they Tell your children they can't speak Spanish there language when I ask principals about it they said they could be saying something bad about them so they don't allow it I was told to go back to where I came from if I wasn't happy with how they took care of my children I could move schools do not send your latin children here you can have them moved to another school

Main Street elementary is a horrible school. There are few good teachers. If ever an issue with your child learning.... its automatically the childs fault. They encourage the children to be accountable..... but there is none among staff. Check the ratings and test scores. When you try to be an involved parent, your communication is with the parent portal.... again, taking responsibility from teachers. Now its the parents fault.
