I'm a student at this school and just wanted to say that I love the way we are treated and respected. I love that our school is like a family. There are so many opportunities that usually only big school have such as team sports, music, art, even a rock band. I have gone to this school since kindergarten and will graduate from 8th grade. Trinidad school has prepared me for high school and college. Thanks Trinidad and all the great teachers. I love you!

Thank goodness this school got a new principal. In about 10 years it will finally be good if he has any power or say in things and if he opens up a charter there. Still has lots of low quality teachers but maybe the new principal will do something about that.

Trinidad School has major problems. Unfortunately the administration is living in the past and won't update the school to modern qualifications. Some of the staff ostracize the students and nothing is done about it. They tolerate bullying and racism at this school and nothing is done about it. This school is one of the worst schools in the area as far as rating all schools in Humboldt Co. Too bad the administration is hand picking the replacement for when a retirement takes place soon.....otherwise local families might have hope for their children's future at Trinidad School.

Enrichment and how children are valued and respected are two of my favorite qualities. The students over all well-being is cared for along with a strong academics program. The organic lunch program is a major bonus along with the hands on garden time.

I love Trinidad School because of the Nature, MARE program( our unique ocean studies program), the small class sizes, music and art and drama and samba and all the wonderful things the school community makes happen. I especially love the garden and the ORGANIC SCHOOL LUNCH!!!! yep, homemade lunch and snacks everyday, so no more packing lunches:)

It is small and in need of funds. However, the teachers are great and work with what they have. It would be great to have their efforts rewarded, as well as those great kids.
