The teachers are great but the principal, secretary superintendent and the board are incompetent. They don't look for the best interest of the child, they look for what it is easy. And if you are a parent that questions what they do and why they do it, it's is trouble because you become strange from the school.

Awesome! I went to Dow’s and it still feels the same as it did then.

As a social worker, I have worked with schools across four counties and this school is by far the most appalling. They have an incompetent principal and their TK teacher should not even be allowed to be around children. They demonize children with special needs and do not work with parents on how best to serve them. They use punishment as a "motivator" instead of praise. Their teacher's have only the minimum units in Early Childhood Development. If you have any other options for your child's education, I would take them.

The teachers and staff make Dows prairie a great school. They r very interactive with the parents.. & open to lots of parental involvement...
