Reynolds Elementary is a Great School ! It's NOT the teachers principals ! It's the PARENTS ! The only reason kids barely are learning is because of the BAD kids , their parents need to get their kids under control and teach them to have respect for adults ! I'm a student at Reynolds and I love that school ! I've been there since kindergarten and that school is amazing ! It's just people need to get their kids under control ! The teachers feel bad for everyone that's trying to learn but can't because people kids are always acting up ! Get your kids under control and watch it be a difference ! I've been there for 7years kdg,1st,2nd.3rd,4th,5th & 6th grade I'm still at Reynolds ! People need to get their kids UNDER CONTROL I'm serious ! The principals are great too, it's the bad kids !

What an experience!? I had no choice but to send my child there in 2012. We recently moved to the area, which is a cute little neighborhood, and I don't think anyone sends their kids there. From my experience, the kids do seem to run the school, they are very unruly. There's too many kids in the classroom and too many distractions. For my child, who has some special needs, this was a disaster. TPS sat him in the back of the class, out of the way, and refused an IEP. This school seemed more like a daycare than a school. On top of that, they started classes late to add another MEAL at the beginning of the day. Offered free breakfast but cut into the school day. This is not the only TPS school that is like this, but definitely not a fit for my child. I want my child to have an education, not free daycare. Since then, we've found a fantastic charter school close by that is more than we could have hoped for. WEA for anyone looking in the area.

Reynolds School, I feel this school principal and some of the teachers there need to go back and learn some education themselves. There is a lot of bullying that goes on in that school and gets shoved under the rug. I wonder why? Mrs Gult principal Mr Gult on the board I rest my case. Social skills are a bit to be desired on Mrs Gults behalf . It seem like there are favorites when it comes to that school . No kids left be hide that is BULL.. TPS is suppose to stand strong is that just for teachers and board members, because it certainly is not for our chidden, I am ready to sell my one and move from your district and I will NEVER vote for another levy for your schools systems.. Take a long look at who you have running your schools because at this school it does not work MRS. CONCERNED

Don't send your children to this school!!!!! My daughter attended this school for the 2012-2013 school year and it was a nightmare. We moved in the middle of the year from another school in the district. At her previous school we had no problems whats so ever she was doing well. Once she began going to Reynolds that all changed she was getting bullied had several conference with principal and nothing was done. Grades started slipping. I sat in her class to see what was going on and I couldn't even concentrate from all the bad behavior. This school is terrible all around. i agree if i could give it less than a star I would.

If I could give it less than one star I would. Since the district change this school has become a nightmare. They threw teachers into grades they weren't used to teaching - thus getting run over by the bad kids. I can't even say it's really the kids' fault because they have parents who could care less what their children are doing. The teachers of the older students are too busy trying to be "cool" to the point they have 13 yr old students over to their house to play with their 9 yr old daughters? What happened to drawing the line between teacher and friend? I am NOT having my son return this year. It was one thing after another, I could write on and on - and I see someone mentioned bullying in a comment back from 2005. Not much has changed since!

So thankful for that my husband joined the United States Navy!! When we lived in Toledo,Ohio. Our daughter went to Reynolds in grade K. She was one of the brightest students. My husband was station in VA we were still here because she was finishing out her school year. My car broke down, i had to depend on family members and friends. Our daughter was late alot. While i was in the process of getting our car fix. They told me that they were going to held her back and that she wasnt going to go to 1st grade. My husband and I was very upset! He immediately moved us to Norfolk,VA. Where she now attend one of the top Elementary Schools in the Nation! They immediately start testing our daughter as soon as we arrived! She ranked in the 99 Percentile in the Nation!! She is now in all honor classes as well as the Nationwide Gifted Program. She wish to become a scientist and win the noble peace prize. This school and the whole TPS School system should really be ashamed of the quality of their school system. Its really amazing they still have jobs! Any other organization was operating that way would be shut down!
