HSA Springfield has provided my daughter with several opportunities to grow and develop at her own rate. The caring and supportive staff are always willing to assist me and my daughter. The free tutoring and clubs have also been amazing. My daughter feels safe and secure, in this school, and, as a parent, that means so much to me.

My children have done well at Horizon Springfield. The class sizes are smaller. The administrators and the teachers get to know the students and their families. Many community activities centered around family involvement and home visits from teachers. The extended school day provides an opportunity for block math and English curriculum. Also pleased that they offer Turkish and Spanish instruction to K-8 students as well as cultural education. Another plus; this school has implemented a character education curriculum which is taken on all grade levels and focuses on anti-bullying, character building, and citizen ship issues that are age appropriate and relevant to current events. After-school clubs and tutoring are also available to every student, and their is always and open dialogue between the parents and the school. Parent teacher conferences are held 4 times per year and there is online access to your child's grades and behavior so that you have the opportunity to work with your student on any issues.

My son has really excelled at Horizon Science Academy. The teachers and staff really care about the students. It is a safe learning environment too.

I love sending my daughter to this school. Overall I've seen nothing but good for her education. Teachers care and they do an intensive job for her. The lunch program is great as well.
