My son came home Friday from note from his teacher or someone work there. List the days accents they think unexcused. Its strange how i went to the office and handle them or put the assent notes on the basket from the doctor/dentist/ orthodontist the ppl at the front desk saw me. Someone & it wasn't my son it must had took it lost or trash it. Its no my fault. .

Horrible!!! I got my child out of this school as soon as I could. I do think it is wrong that Davidson county forces parents with good kids to send their kids to a school like this. Your child will not get a good education here not because of the teachers or staff but because the students rule the school and are so disruptive and out of control the teachers can't teach what they need to. My child loved school her whole life until she went to this school. When she started going here she was bullied and had to stay after school a lot to learn anything. She has anxiety every morning going to this school she hated it so much. If you have the option to live outside of this school zone I highly recommend you do it! If you want your child to get a good education and be around a good group of kids then don't send them here because you won't find it at this school.

My child attends this school & the staff have a hard time keeping the children under control. There are a lot of disobedient children making it hard for the teachers to teach. Not a solid education being offered because of this. Back in my school days children did not treat their teachers this horribly. I will give it to the staff they seem to try to control them but it doesn't seem to work. The good students are also given punishment like silent lunch because so many in the class misbehave. In my opinion this isn't giving incentive for the good kids to stay being good by punishing them to. I do not feel my child is getting the education they deserve. I wouldn't recommend this school sadly so many of us in Thomasville are forced to enroll our child here.

The students at the school, feel like they run the school. They do not care about their education. You can count on one hand the parents that are involved and when a parent is concerned, they do no know how to handle it. The atmosphere is not one that is condusive to learning. It's easy for kids to get caught up in the "do nothing" vibe of the school. AIG programs are good, those teachers care, but what about the other students?
