Not really a great school for academics. Has absolutely almost no AP courses. Good basketball team though.

Our Saviour Lutheran School is a great place. The reviews on here are not reflective of the new leadership and direction of the school. The curriculum is being reshaped and the entire school is being revitalized, so things are only going to get better. My child is really enjoying their time at OSL and I know that they are going to be better prepared for life because they attended. I can't wait to see how OSL continues to grow!

It is now 2020 and all the negative reviews iv'e read on this website and Niche website about OSL ring correct. I am a parent of student attending OSL. Suffice to say I will not rewrite the comments previously stated but will caution any reader to rethink the quality and educational background of administration and teachers at this school. If it were not for the pandemic struggle of moving my child to another school and having them reallocate themselves to a new environment I would end my child's journey with OSL. It is absolutely true the Basketball takes precedence over academia; a clear delineation between administration is not clear. who handles what?; the communication between teachers and parents is left up to the parent only; lots of bullying; the building is falling apart, horrible!! My child states he does not like the school and some teachers are bullying too.

Leadership/ Administrator roles ( principles and such) at this school is a joke. Seems like they either draw straws or flip a coin to decide who they will have in charge and make decisions. They are clueless. The teachers are mediocre at best, which is at least better then administration. It's sad, it's like they are "playing school". If you are looking for a half way decent school for your child, this isn't it. This is more like the bottom of your shoe. Maybe they need to pay there staff better so they can hire some decent people.

This school is the worst. They do not have a guidance counselor. Students are not getting the appropriate help when applying for colleges. The principal is the acting guidance counselor but he is not submitting the students transcripts on time to the colleges. Some students were crying upset because the transcripts was not submitted. This is horrible for juniors & seniors have to go through.
