This school is HORRIBLE especially the special education classrooms!!! The class is chaotic, with students constantly misbehaving, fighting and cursing. The teachers do nothing to discipline students making it hard for the good ones to learn. The staff is rude, and did not seem interested in helping my child succeed. Communication is poor, and when I reached out for assistance, I was ignored!!! I cannot recommend this school for any parent looking for a supportive and nurturing environment for their child. RUN AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL!!!! I did and now my child is actually learning and loves school again!!

Temple Terrace is a fantastic school. The staff works hard to provide a high-quality education and they use best practices. The teachers truly care about the children at this school.Students make great gains at this school and care about each other.Families are supported. There is even a food pantry open weekly for all families.Be a partner in your child's education and your child will soar!

This school by far is one of the worst elementary schools but it starts from the leadership. The principal is very rude and disrespectful which concerns me. If leadership is comfortable enough to speak to a parent/ adult in the manner in which she does I can only imagine how the children are spoken to when a parent is not present. My son got into a physical altercation with another student the other student assaulted my child and my child defended himself but in this instance even the child who commenced the situation isn’t wrong the music teach and principal were wrong. The children were playing flag football in music class then the children started playing tackle football without permission. I don’t understand the correlation between music and foot ball furthermore when the lesson plan was submitted i highly doubt the lesson plan stated flag football. When I asked the principal about it she stated the children did not have permission to play tackle football only flag. The principal still wasn’t getting the bigger picture. Then she proceeded to say it’s 1 teacher and 34 students what is she suppose to do. I couldn’t believe what I just heard, this sounds like something that needs to be taken up with hillsborough county and their budget. The safety of my/ our children should not be compromised due to lack of staff.I am disgusted by the action of the school administration. Administrators are the people who we intrust our children safety and education with. Educators are suppose to be nurturers not aggressive, disrespectful and uncharismatic and unbothered. I am appalled by the actions of the principal.

I have sent my kids to Temple Terrace within a 10 year span and this is the first time I have had an issue since Crystal Brown has been principal.

I would put a tiny shade area on a star only for the new principal that started this August. She tried helping me along with other children there, but it wasn't going anywhere. Basically. ..this school REALLY SUCKS. I visited this schools principal more than there are fingers and toes on my body, this also includes Miss Perez, she did nothing, he made excuses for the bullies and she NEVER recorded our conversation. Don't, don't go to this school. Hillsborough district sucks!!

I am very thrilled to be working at such a wonderful school with very hard working and dedicated teachers. This school truly emphasizes the Bank Street Credo in educating the whole child. Come and check out our service learning projects led by the students, our school learning garden, schoolwide recycling program, Monday Mile Running Club, Tiger Talents enrichment clusters and many other fabulous programs at our school!
