The special education department at this school is a nightmare. I have been fighting tooth and nail since before school started for my daughter to have appropriate assistance in place. Its January, and that still hasnt been done. I am so frustrated with this school that I will more than likely be getting a lawyer. My other daughter is advanced for her age, has straight A's and is incredibly BORED at this school. There is no challenge for her, as the things she is learning in class are things she learned LAST YEAR at a school in another state. Im horribly disappointed with this school. If this is one of the better schools in this state, I am TERRIFIED to see what the other schools are like.

Mountain View Elementary is the best school ever. Amazing teachers and students and staff. Your children and learning comes first. We have had four generations in the amazing school.

Mountain View Elementary is a nightmare of a school !!!!!!!!!! My Granddaughter will not attend this school another day. Students seem to get away with anything that goes well not all just the ones that can. AWFUL SCHOOL

A school is only as good as its Principal. We have a wonderful School because Mr. Hughes cares about the kids, teachers, and families that attend Mountain View Elementary.

Mountain View is accessible. The teachers are committed to their children. They work together through tough economic times to minimize the impact of budget cuts on their kids and to excel in pioneering vanguard programs such as multi-age classroom learning.

The principal is supportive of the students, teachers, and parents. He makes sure the student and teacher are a good fit and listens to parent concerns. The multi age classes are a wonderful alternative to a traditional classroom. Multiple field trips (more than other local schools) enhance the learning experience.
