This was the best school I ever attended. I was here pretty much all my elementary school years. Everything was always positive and calm. The special education program was very good. And I don’t know if they still do it, but battle of the books was very great. The teachers are also great. Definitely the only school I remember fondly. The only thing I didn’t like was you weren’t allowed to talk at lunch when the music was playing. If it would’ve been some music other than opera music, the Forrest Gump theme song, or the Beatles on piano though, it’d have been fine. Maybe they’ve changed that, if not though, I’d recommend something that appeals to today’s youth, like instrumental pop or country. I’m in 10th grade now and this school definitely influenced me for the better.

I would give this school a 4 star! It could be better at handling situations when it comes to students/teachers. My sons 3rd grade teacher was very rude & hateful towards him. We later heard from other students & parents who had had her before that she was the same way with them. It was to the point I was about to remove my son from the school. Other than his 3rd grade year I now have a daughter who has attended this school for 3 years now as well. We love Heritage & the other staff members & teachers are great! I don't understand how this school is ranked so low. This really is a great school.

It’s been a wonderful experience. We had to move mid season and the staff made the transition so easy. My boys teachers have been phenomenal. My oldest is on track to being where he should be after lagging behind the last two years. I just regret that we were only here temporary because the progress that Mrs. Martin has made with my son is something no one else has ever done. Boom! Take that Colorado- Thanks for a great year!!

My children attend Heritage after a disappointing 3 years at our "assigned" elementary school. It has been an EXCELLENT experience. My children's teachers care very much about their learning and them as people. The principal's devotion to her students and staff is rare and an amazing thing to witness as a parent!

Heritage has an amazing staff and really loves its students. The IB program is very challenging and an awesome addition to their everyday curriculum.

I'm so disappointed that my child's elementary school years were spent at Heritage. It seems that it was one negative experience after another. There are some good teachers there, there are also some really terrible ones. I finally pulled my child's enrollment after I was informed the teacher had cursed in front of the class on two different occasions, as well as "sits in her chair and texts on her phone all day". This was just the tip of the iceberg. I can think nothing good to say about the five years we spent there. The new principal, Heather Hester is a large part of the problem IMO. I know all schools have problems, but Heritage has a long way to go to be the great school they say they are.
