I would rate my experience a 10/10 because I graduated feeling like I was leaving behind a family. There were so many opportunities for me to grow and expand my world. I was also challenged greatly academically which paid off in college and even in my current job

I attended CCS from Pre-K through 12th Grade, and I can say without a doubt that I would not be who I am today without the experiences, community, teaching, and hardships that I was able to experience throughout my time there. I am extremely grateful that my parents chose to enroll me there from the start, and even I had the choice to go somewhere else, I knew this was where I wanted to be. CCS is full of godly, loving teachers, and boasts a curriculum that is rigorous, personal, and growing more diverse each year. In addition to the academics, CCS provides intentional spiritual formation through biblical studies, and introduction to and development of leadership skills. The Leadership Program and the Senior Leader Program are two of the things that make Community Christian High School so unique. Through learning and practicing leadership principles in the context of the outdoors, serving their community in various ways, and mastering basic survival skills, students are equipped to lead others and thrive(not just survive) in the real world. All of this also strengthens bonds between peers, gives opportunities for upperclassmen to mentor lowerclassmen, and forges a feeling of community within the high school. The Senior Leader Program takes all of that one step further, giving emerging young leaders the chance to test themselves, develop their leadership skills, and take on greater responsibilities within the leadership program, and also within the school environment.All that being said, CCS is not for everyone, and it is unlikely that a student will enjoy their time there if they are unwilling to put in the effort required to grow, and to have a positive mental attitude while doing so. However, any student who remains open to challenge and development, and who meets every obstacle knowing that his peers are beside him and God is with them going through the same thing, is sure to reap the plentiful rewards that CCHS has to offer. I would not give up the experience I had in my years at CCS for anything, and I am proud that I am still able to call it home.

Overall great, the academics are intense. The teachers are caring. But the school is costly $12,000

this school has so much nepotism, if you are not working here you dont win the awards and thats just that.

I have taught at the school and sent my children to CCS for a combined 11 years. My husband and I agree that it is the best preparation for all four of our sons education. The elementary is top-notch, beginning with a play based preschool and kindergarten. Some of my boys learned to read in kindergarten through exploration, but my first 2 were not fluent readers until first grade. The school allows new readers to be grouped by ability and all my boys were reading well by the end of first grade. It wasn't until 3rd grade though that we saw some great strides. By the boys learning to read at their own pace, they developed a love for reading that is incredible. My firstborn will read 2-3 grade level books in a day if given enough time. My children had wonderful opportunities in elementary, weekly music, computer and art classes and daily chapel time. Learning large passages of scripture is a part of that chapel time but done so well, since the children learn sign language with the passages to help it soak into their memory. Lunch outside is a highlight since it is usually paired with a second recess. Field trips were educational and stimulating. My boys highlight was space camp trip in 5th grade. In Middle school my children have really enjoyed being involved in the sports programs, and service focus of the middle school. The middle school retreat is a highlight and just a small taste of the leadership program yet to come in high school. I would wholeheartedly recommend CCS to any family that desires the Word to be developed in the heart of their child. CCS has been a blessing to our family and I cannot imagine choosing a different path for our boys education.

I am very blessed to work at such a great school and privileged to teach young children about God and how good He is. It is amazing to see how the Holy Spirit is always at work, providing for our needs, allowing us to pray and serve others. Academics are very important but without the firm foundation which is started at home about how God is involved and in control of everything in our lives, children will be lost. CCS is a nurturing environment where students are well-cared for and loved. Yes, there are other schools and yes, you can still love the Lord if you don't go to CCS, but there is no worry here. There is trust that the teachers and staff do what is right in the Lord's sight. As a parent to have that is a treasure everyday. I love that my children constantly talk about what they are learning in school and their friendships and most importantly to see how God is molding them into His image.

Our journey with CCS began August 1998 and will end May 2014. Our oldest son began pre-school in 1998, graduated in 2012 and then went on to UF majoring in Building Construction Management. Our youngest son began pre-school in 2000 and will graduate in 2014 and move on to FSU in the BFA Program in Production at the FSU College of Motion Picture Arts. During the 16 years that we have been involved with CCS, we have always rejoiced in the solid Biblical world view. Did our boys have to make sacrifices in their extracurricular areas of interest? Sure-but they were able to participate in soccer/tennis/cross country/track/drama/video arts/music/domestic & international mission trips/local & national community service outreach and the senior leadership program. As parents, CCS educators always made us feel like we were partners together in this endeavor. CCS/CCHS has certainly prepared our sons for life beyond our home and the school that nurtured them both for 14 years. We look forward to each of them having a future promised in Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Our two children have attended Community Christian School for 6 years. We are very pleased with excellent and challenging academics , teaching staff and overall learning environment. A biblical world view is integrated into each subject. They are receiving a well rounded education and are also offered a range of extracurricular activities including sports and the arts. We highly recommend CCS.

I'm about to start my fourth year at CCS. I've experienced middle school and elementary here. The teachers really care about not only their students health, but also our education. In addition, students are taught a Christian view on subjects, how to grow spirtually and honor God through everyday situations. Finally CCS has a constantly improving sports and arts program. Students can attend band, choir, dance,participate in plays, cheer leading, play soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, golf, run cross country, and track and field, and recently added swim team. All in all I love my school and definitely recommend it.
