Far difference from what a year makes. This school has been amazing for our daughter and what it has addressed over the past year. We have loved the communication and have loved the interaction the school has done. We have seen a remarkable improvement in that as well as what we have seen in our daughter as she progresses thru the school. I have thoroughly enjoyed our time here amongst the school and could not think of a better system with that small town feel here. You can tell the teachers are really passionate about improving and what their expectations are for the school year going forward.

Many teachers are wonderful and give all they have at this school. However, during the past few years, testing numbers have gone down significantly, teacher parent communication has been poor, and certain, newer staff members have made poor choices regarding some of the children’s needs and well-being.

We have had the best experience at North School. The teachers communication is always incredible, the principal is extremely kind and fun loving. It’s a safe place. My children thrive here! It may be the smallest school in sycamore but, for this reason I find it to be comforting.
