Beautiful campus, awesome principal, excellent quality of education & smart students are some of the hallmarks of this school.

Great school and very pleased to have chosen Res to enroll our son and hopefully our other children when the time comes. We like the academic program and faith based values. As parents we like that the school campus is gated and safe campus environment overall. The teachers and staff very helpful and keep Res community well informed. Carlos C.

I was looking for a family centered, faith based school for my Jr.Kindergartner. Of course I wanted a curriculum that would prepare my child for the demanding catholic high school in the Silicon Valley area and for College. Resurrection has proven to me in the last 3 years that it can perform on all those levels. As I was evaluating the 5-6 local Catholic Elementary Schools and our Neighborhood School, Resurrection stood out from many perspectives; excellent principal setting the tone, teachers committed to students, and more than 10 acres of land including lots of grass and beauty.

This is a fantastic school with a great direction. They believe in developing the child as whole not just the academics. The academics are strong but the students are taught to be leaders and take ownership of the school. It has a great community feel whereby the students and staff work together. They seem to be heavily focussed on technology and math which is great here in Silicon Valley.

Resurrection is a wonderful elementary school! Our family has been at the school for 7 years and we are so happy with the teachers and staff, the families we've met and most of all, the well-rounded education our children are receiving. While the school has strong academics (as evidenced by consistently high acceptance rates by Resurrection grads into Catholic high schools), we are happy that there is also focus on leadership skills, athletics, art and community service. We are thankful for those"extras" that are part of the curriculum here yet other schools no longer offer - foreign language, music, P.E. and art. It's also amazing to see see how technology and educational iPad apps are engaging the students.

We loved the experience our two children had in the JK (Pre-K) program and in the Kindergarten program! We greatly appreciated the low-cost JK & elementary school extended care programs which were open until 6pm! They were a great help to us as working parents! Our daughter in K learned to love sports like basketball & volleyball thanks to kid older kids who patiently taught her to play. We'd highly recommend this school if you are seeking a school with a strong sense of community. Well-rounded students are supportive and caring. Your child will have "friends" from the first day they start at Res! The principal Ms. Wright is a top notch leader. She takes the time to greet the entire family and extensions of the family on first name basis, whenever paths cross. If you're only interested in academics and "everything else" is not important to you, this might not be the right place for your family. However if you're seeking a healthy, happy, peaceful environment for your child, stop here and take a tour of the campus with one class per grade and a HUGE playground and sports fields. After school programs: art, sports, scouts, choir, & the Music School next door!

My 2 children are studying in Resurrection school for more than a year now. School staff's are very welcoming, Parents community is very co-operative and students are cheerful. My children love going to this school. My elder son who is in Grade5 love the advanced technologies such as nearpod which is used in the classroom which really ignites thought of being tech savy to Younger generation. Very importantly on the religion and values parts, if you are looking for a real catholic school and bringing up child in gods value..this is the place to be in. I strongly recommend Resurrection school to other parents.

I visited over 15 schools (public, private, catholic, non-catholic) before deciding to send my daughter to Resurrection. It was a very tough decision but I chose Resurrection for its overall value... On the positive side, it focuses on "whole" child development, developing social values, is very diverse, has amazing teacher:student ratio and a huge campus & great facilities, has strong parent community and in the last year, has introduced an innovative blended learning curriculum leveraging technology, which my daughter loves. On the "not-so-positive" side, it is definitely not as academically strong as most other non-catholic private schools I had visited. My daughter does go to a very academic challenging after school program. So this compensates for it a bit. In any case, I believe that to be successful in the 21st century, it is not sufficient to focus purely on cognitive development,; equal attention must be paid to emotional, social and physical development, and Resurrection is quite strong in helping kids in these other areas. I do question sometimes whether my daughter is being challenged enough academically, but she absolutely loves the school and is so happy there.

Re Middle School: Res offers a strong math and science program w/in the Catholic school system that will TRULY prepare the student for Catholic high school. Due to changes in teaching staff, the social studies program is too new to offer an accurate review. English Lit is strong and the teacher is enthusiastic, well-liked and inspires students to learn. Spanish is the weak link in the mix, and public school offers a better curriculum. There are other nearby Catholic schools that claim to be better, but having left one of them for Res, I know I made the right choice. Many of my kid's former classmates did not test into Algebra 2 as promised, most did not make it into Honors Geometry and some were repeating Algebra 1. At Res, almost all the students tested into Geometry easily and many were offered honors Geometry. Res is a strong Catholic school and I have been impressed with how many former graduates send their children here, instead of the schools closer to their homes. Res is consistent and does not make promises they cannot keep. Isn't honesty a better policy than bait and switch?

Resurrection used to be a great school, but it has greatly diminished in terms of academics. The use of technology (iPads) has been forced on the school, but the teachers and principal are mostly technology adverse so incorporation into curriculum is weak. If your child is gifted or struggles, the teachers are not equipped to help. There is a lot of bullying that goes on -- by students, parents, and even by some teachers. One teacher's reputation for how she treats students is so bad, parents transfer their kids out of the school to avoid her. The Diocese has received several reports of student bullying over the years, but nothing changes. If you complain, you and your child are ostracized.

As parents of a 1st grade student , we highly recommend Resurrection School in Sunnyvale, CA to all parents seeking a well-rounded education for their children. The school encourages strong academic performance within a caring and nurturing environment. Students, parents, and faculty come together to strike the right balance between religion and education. Alongside teaching the students about family values and their role as responsible members of society, the school provides state-of-the-art facilities such as dedicated science and math labs to help immerse students in these fields, as well as blended learning in the classroom, a new teaching initiative that harnesses technology to enhance the curriculum. The Resurrection School community also enthusiastically supports many extra-curricular fundraising events and charity drives throughout the year. We believe in a quality, well-rounded education for our son. Resurrection School provides it.

We have been part of Resurrection School for 7 years now and our children have an amazing environment to flourish and grow up in. We have a new Principal this year who has set the tone for the children and faculty to provide strong academics in a peace oriented environment. The parent community is very strong and supportive of each child being able to achieve their potential and welcoming all who are new. With a beautiful campus, sports teams starting in 4th grade, art, music, PE in addition to the core academic classes the children are being developed into well rounded young people. We would highly recommend Resurrection School to anyone looking for a Junior Kindergarten through 8th grade Catholic education for their children.

This is our family s 5th year at Resurrection School. We were initially attracted to the school because of its well-regarded JK program. Having been so impressed with JK, we knew we wanted our children to continue at Resurrection and benefit from everything the school has to offer. Resurrection achieves high academic standings and this is accomplished within a safe and nurturing environment. Teachers and staff truly care about the students and their families. They challenge the students to achieve their absolute best, in school and in life. Values are integrated in the classroom and on the playground every day. On top of the strong academic curriculum, P.E., music, art, Spanish, library and technology classes are integrated into every grade. The outdoor campus is another plus . There is a playground, grass fields and other play areas for kids to use at recess, lunch and during P.E. We love the sense of community created here. The families are welcoming and friendly and we know our children are making lifelong friends. If you are looking for a school where children thrive and develop into well-rounded successful young adults, Resurrection is the place.

We are in our second year at Res. Our class community is supportive, diverse and kind. We fell into a good group. The new principal, Mrs Wright is bringing wonderful values, commitment, love and vision to the campus. The kindergarten team is AWESOME. We see Res as a little jewel that is a special chapter in our lives.

It's interesting how all the "Great" reviews were written around the same time. Did all those parents try to up the rating? If it's such a great school why is enrollment down, so many families leaving, and they can't keep teachers? Unfortunately this school has gone way downhill. Don't go here until they get another new principal and competent and stable teachers. If you are looking for education, look elsewhere. On a positive note it is one of the best campuses and the children are very friendly and welcoming.

Resurrection delivers great value for your money, but the proof is in the pudding. Our two oldest children attended Resurrection from Kindergarten through 8th grade, went on to graduate from a top-tier private high school, and are exceling at top engineering schools studying Electrical Engineering. When our two youngest children reached school age it was a no-brainer to send them to Res as well and they are now doing very well in 1st and 3rd grade. The staff at Res is great and welcomes parent involvement and input. We are particularly excited that the principal is working to establish Res as a leader at using technology to improve education.

Resurrection school offers an outstanding environment for our daughter to learn and excel. The teachers are excellent and are truly interested in the success of the children. We have also found the cost of tuition to be very reasonable. Money well spent! Small class sizes. Curriculum is well balanced yet challenging. Parent involvement is strong, creating a very close and friendly community. We couldn't have made a better choice!

Resurrection is a terrific school with a great curriculum. The tuition is very reasonable considering the diversity of courses and technologies the students are exposed to. We could not be happier with our kids education.
