Central is a great school loaded with lots of great teachers. The teachers really reinforce the material well, understanding that homework isn’t the only way to do that. It is a small school, meaning that you get a very personalized experience and get to know the teachers. There are lots of opportunities at Central to do extracurriculars, sports, clubs, and consortium events. The school itself is renovating each year to keep up with student needs, interests, and trends. Furthermore, the experience at Central for your student will prepare them for high school by allowing them to feel more freedom as they progress through the grades; and by also creating and curating assignments that challenges the student, but also leaves room for improvement. To conclude, going to Central Middle School is a pleasure for a student, it is a nice environment where each student receives consistently personalized educational instruction, so that they can improve on skills that they need work on.

I am an alumni, graduated eighth grade in 2023. Do not send your child here. All the other reviews are from parents and are outdated. Faculty does absolutely nothing about bullying and oftentimes enables it by gossiping with students about their peers. Honestly, worst experience of my life so far. There are a few amazing staff members and students, although I only remember about 3 teachers being genuinely good people and caring about their students. I am writing this as a sophomore at WHRHS. All in all, awful school.

We moved in longhill last year and my daughter is in central middle school for almost 1year. During this year , I can see her grades have made a big progress. At the first period, she got a C and B- in her ELA and Science. But after two periods learning and the help from the teachers, she has got a high Horner with all A grades. I’m also thanks the teachers engaged work and I like the school and teachers.

The kids love the school. They are kind, motivated, diligent, and moral. They show everyone in America that small town American schools are thriving.

I love teaching at Central Middle School because we work in a family atmosphere with the staff caring for the students and fellow staff members as you would in your own family. We have a student population under 400 and we are able to get to know every one of the students and watch them grow from grade 6 to grade 8.

Central school has always been a school who cared about the whole family. Our children are well behaved and work hard. Our parents attend school functions and follow up on staff concerns. Our staff works so hard everyday to accomplish what needs to be done with a great attitude. We have been hit hard over the last 5 years in budget cuts yet we find ways to make everything great for the students.We are proud of the work that is accompished daily at Central School-Long Hill Township,nj.

My children went to this school and now I teach there. It has a welcoming, positive environment for students who genuinely get to know their teachers. Parents are regularly informed and involved to ensure that every child is treated individually and together we create a great, supportive learning environment for children going through their middle school years.

The best way I can describe it is that Central Middle School is really an extended family to each other and the community we serve. We really support each other on a daily basis.
