I have had four children go through the SCSD in the last 20 years. I found every child to have a different experience which has caused me to have a different view at times. Has everything been perfect? No. Have their been "issues"? Sure. However, on a whole, whenever I have needed support as a parent or for my student the staff is ALWAYS there! I love the small town, take care of each other, know your students feel! I believe we are on an upward trend starting with a new superintendent that has lived in this community for years and many new staff members committed to making the SCSD even better!

This school is very hard to fit in at. I have been in Stevenson since 8th grand and still am not excepted. Sports are not a strong point and neither are academics, this school is full of dysfunctional people and lots of drama. i am a musician and love the arts such as theater and Choir and theses programs are an 1 out of 10 on my list. yes there are a few good people there but the bad out ways the good. Teachers are not professional and use profanities and eat while teaching. If you are thinking of putting your child in SHS think again, try Camas or Washougal high schools.
