I am a parent of a 7 year old that goes to this school. My son is in 2nd grade and he witnessed 2 six graders fighting in the bathroom and they didn't receive any consequence. My son has also witnessed older kids smoking and vaping in the bathrooms and behind the bushes at recess. This school does not care about their students safety and choices as I've heard stories from friends that their children have also received and witnessed the same treatment. The older kids do not receive discipline and they curse and fight with each other dangerously as I've seen at my son's open-house day. I've also heard that kids that fight or do other things end up doing the same things in middle school and high school, this school curses them for life as the kids turn to bad ideas. My son has also come home many times with a stomachache and saying the food tastes terrible, I now pack him his own lunch because this school fails in feeding their students well. I'm already looking for a new school to transfer him to that could potentially do the BARE MINIMUN that this school has failed at. I'm hoping for this place to be shut down soon as I don't want other parents and their children receive the same treatment. Parents who have no choice but to have their kid attend this school, good luck.

The worst administration I’ve ever worked for. Extremely micromanaging. Does not care about or respect their staff as individuals. There are zero consequences for extreme student behavior.

I am an educator. I have three children, two are in College and one in first grade. I have had my share of schools and the very unique identity that schools developed. I have nothing to say about this school other than a fantastic experience. From the front office to Ms Maggie in the parent center to the classroom teachers, I have experienced the utmost joy and desire to raise good children. I am so comfortable when I walk into the school, my heart swells with love because I have seen bad school. I am relieved that my son is in good hands.

I am extremely disappointed with this school. I whole heartedly believe this school is failing my daughter. This school is 99% Hispanic. They concentrate too much on teaching the parents English. Having programs to help them have free internet, free computers, free Wi-Fi. My child came home one day and told me that they didn't have any money on their lunch card, (the majority is home made lunch) and they had only given 2 items. My child started crying, "I was so hungry mommy!" I was outraged!!! The majority of this school is on the free/reduced lunch program. And they only gave my child 2 items. Seriously!! My friends who have children in the Northern Virginia school system post about their child in there school plays, school dances, school projects. My child in the (3) years they've gone here, have done nothing like that. Because there focus are on the wrong things. I feel my child is getting left behind.
